Excellent experience – not surprising for a Nancy Silverton restaurant! Vibe on point. Food amazing. Servers on top of it. Food highlights were the Burricotta & Spiced Walnuts (the sweetness with the light spice on the walnuts = perfection) and the Butternut Squash Tortelloni. And don’t skip on the garlic bread (hot tip if it gets sent out first: save it to go with your pasta). Zero misses though foodwise – was all amazing. The balsamic on the steak gave it amazing flavor. The salanova was nice and light with such good flavor – loved the crunch of the fried chickpeas.

Dinner at Osteria Mozza was indulgent, comforting, and unmistakably Italian in spirit – the kind of meal that leans into simplicity done very, very well.

We started with the octopus, perfectly tender and well balanced, followed by a spread of burrata & prosciutto and fresh mozzarella that reminded us why Mozza built its reputation around dairy – creamy, delicate, and absolutely worth the hype.

For mains, the pastas were the real stars. The ravioli was rich without being heavy, while the tagliatelle delivered that deeply satisfying, silky texture that only well-made fresh pasta can achieve. Nothing overworked, nothing overstyled – just confident, honest cooking.

Dessert didn’t disappoint either. The tiramisu was classic and comforting, and the chocolate mousse was smooth, indulgent, and perfectly portioned to end the meal without excess.

We paid around $160 per person, which feels justified for the quality of ingredients, execution, and overall experience. Osteria Mozza doesn’t chase trends – it focuses on doing the fundamentals exceptionally well, and that’s exactly why it works.

I’m a huge fan of Chef’s Table and I love fine dining, so I visited this place during my California trip. I had heard it was an Italian restaurant, so at first I didn’t expect much and only ordered a glass of Prosecco. But as I tried each dish, I was blown away .
I immediately decided to order a bottle of wine .

I went with the dishes recommended by our server, and they were absolutely amazing. The wine we chose with the sommelier’s guidance was perfect too. The space was beautiful, and if I lived nearby, I would definitely come back again very soon .

I made a reservation for Osteria Mozza ahead of time, but we still waited about 30 minutes after arriving, which was frustrating. Inside, the restaurant looks classy and elegant, and the atmosphere feels special. The waiters were very nice, attentive, and professional throughout the night. The raviolo and other pastas were outstanding and easily the highlight of the meal, while the steak was good but not amazing. One small surprise: our waiter saw lots of butter on our plate and offered a piece of bread. We said yes, assuming it was complimentary, but they brought a large half loaf and charged us $8. Overall, the food tastes great and the experience is pleasant, yet the prices just didn’t feel worth it for what you get.

Wow… the food… was just… AMAZING!
I gotta say, the night started off frustrating. It was day after valentines and we had a reservation for 8:45pm. We showed up 10 minutes early and weren’t seated until 9:25. Nobody came to update us until I checked in with the staff myself, but after we finally sat down and got our orders in it was about 9:45. So we are 1 hour into our dinner at this point and expectations were LOW… but it turned around quick.

Our waitress was awesome! she recommended fantastic options for us and also explained the menu super well. We ordered two pasta dishes and one entree to share.

We had all 3 dishes come out at the same time and wow… wow wow wow… incredible. I am not one to boast about food but WOW ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. The duck was braised so beautifully and was the most succulent duck I have ever tasted. It was flavor PACKED inside and out with the most delicious crispy skin. Both of our pasta dishes were incredible. Flavors were BOLD and every bite had us wanting more. At no point did we ever experience flavor fatigue. Every bite was unique and we were able to mix and match flavors that all blended so well together. Thank you Osteria Mozza for one of the most delicious meals we have ever experienced. Chefs kiss price seemed a bit high but for the first time I would say the food justified the price. Well done chef, absolutely stunning creations. Wishing blessings on the business!
Compliments from Portland Oregon!

From the moment we walked into Osteria Mozza, the experience felt intentional and elevated. The atmosphere strikes that perfect balance between lively and sophisticated, with warm lighting, a buzzing dining room, and a sense that every detail has been carefully curated. The service was polished without being pretentious, and the pacing of the evening made it easy to settle in and savour each course. It’s the kind of place where you feel the craft and care long before the food even hits the table.

Smoked Mozzarella & 24-Month Prosciutto – 10/10
Absolutely amazing. The smoked mozzarella had the perfect balance of creaminess and depth, and the prosciutto was silky, delicate, and full of flavour. A flawless start.

Caesar Salad – 10/10
A culinary marvel. Ingenious, fresh, and a completely elevated take on a classic. Crisp, perfectly dressed, and full of character. An absolute must-try.

Brussels Sprout Salad – 10/10
So fresh and beautifully balanced. The toasted almonds added the perfect crunch, and the vinaigrette tied everything together with bright, vibrant flavour. A standout dish.

Truffle Pasta with Normandy Butter – 8/10
Incredible flavour and intensely rich. The portion appears small but is more than enough to share between two people because of its luxurious richness. Fragrant, decadent, and beautifully executed.

Agnolotti – 7/10
Good flavour, nicely cooked pasta, and enjoyable overall. Solid but not exceptional.

Orecchiette – 6/10
Just okay. The blend of chicken, pork, and beef in the meat sauce leaned too heavily on the fennel, and the crumbly ragu-style texture created an odd flavour profile. The pasta itself had a great bite, but the sauce missed the mark.

Tiramisu – 8/10
Interesting twist. The toasted hazelnuts added a great new dimension, but the dessert leaned more toward a tiramisu-flavoured cake rather than the classic creamy Italian version you’d expect. Good, but not traditional.

Osteria Mozza has a great ambience, and I was surprised by how spacious the restaurant is. The food was superb. Our server, Shawn, was great and very knowledgeable! The Old Fashion was top-notch as well. I highly recommend this place. Parking is a pain, but other than that, it is a great spot.

It’s the first time I’ve ever felt compelled to start writing a review before even leaving the restaurant. We had been looking forward to Osteria Mozza, and the food was truly extraordinary—easily one of the best meals we’ve ever had. But what really makes me sit here typing is Madison, our server in every sense of the word. She didn’t just serve us; she guided us with perfect recommendations, warmth, and an effortless charm that reminded me of true European hospitality. Grateful for the experience, and already planning my return.
