It was an amazing experience! We were so delighted to find a place with authentic Italian food and some dishes with an American twist. The ingredients were fresh and we were mind blown with the flavors.
Highly recommend bringing some leftovers home and leaving space for dessert!!!! They even surprised us with an extra dessert for our anniversary. It was amazing!

Visited Osteria Marzano for my birthday dinner! The service was 10/10 from the host to the server, everyone was very friendly and attentive. Great cocktail and wine menu, all of the drinks were perfectly crafted. The food is well priced for the quality and portion sizes. I would not order the short rib sliders again as they lacked a bit of flavor personally, similar to the truffle fries. However, the cheese wheel pasta definitely made up for the appetizers. I was dying to go to this place for the cheese wheel experience and I must admit it was very anti-climatic and even a bit awkward as they just silently heated the cheese bowl table-side for almost 5 minutes, so it was not much of an “experience” though the pasta came out delicious. The blackened chicken was also well-seasoned. To finish off the evening we shared a tiramisu which is a must try! I look forward to returning and trying some more menu items.

Truly love this place! We usually get the Spec pizza as an appetizer and it’s so delicious. Very strong flavor with some sweet heat. For my main entree I get the Bucatini pasta with a meatball. The spaghetti pasta is hollow and cooked to perfection!!

We love to come here to celebrate special occasions. It is our secret place that we only recommend or take very good friends. Last night was our date Night to celebrate the holidays. We ordered our usual calamari starter. It is always fresh, and crispy. Then followed by Spaghetti Vongole and Grilled Branzino in lemon Capers sauce. Both were fantastic. The cocktail I ordered into Amalfy wasn’t that good, it was too sour and it hurt my stomach. For dessert, the creme brulee was to die for! It was rich, creamy, and the vanilla and custard shined through. We will definitely keep coming back.

It was my first time here and it was good and bad.
My mom and I started with the arancini and it was good but they were missing the crunch that usually accompanies arancini when deep fried. They were unusually soft like they had been microwaved.

My mom had the eggplant parm which she said was the best she ever had.

My fettuccine Osteria with chicken is where things went wrong. The pasta and sauce was good but bland. The chicken was tough, dry and came out cut in big chunks instead of being sliced. My guess is they pre cooked the chicken and it’s leftover from yesterday and has been sitting on a line cooler all day. They offer to blacken it when ordering but I don’t like Cajun so I declined. I assumed the chicken would have come out with standard seasonings on it like salt, pepper or some Italian seasoning but it was the blandest toughest chicken. Thankfully they did remove the added charge for the chicken ($9)

Additionally, when our food came out there was no fresh grated parm offered. I don’t know how any upscale Italian restaurant cannot offer fresh grated parm.

Hopefully it was just an off night for them as I’d like to try it again sometime.

Osteria Marzano is a true hidden gem in Alexandria. The place is small and unique, with a warm atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The staff was welcoming and attentive, which really made the experience stand out.

The food was fantastic…especially the cheese wheel pasta, which was an experience on its own and absolutely delicious. Every dish had fresh flavors and great presentation.

It’s the kind of spot that feels both relaxed and special at the same time. If you’re in the area and want authentic Italian with a memorable twist, definitely check out Osteria Marzano.

Delicious food, great service, and an elegant atmosphere. This place is incredible. What’s not to like. Fugget about it! Even the complimentary bread and olive oil with pesto was amazing! You can put that olive oil on anything and it would be terrific haha. We started off with the Bruschetta which was full of flavors. The chef definitely believed in garlic or they thought we were vampires lol. We followed that with an order of Parmigiano Reggiano from the Formaggi menu. Another great choice. We ordered a few rounds of their play on a margarita. I believe it’s called In So Mora. Crafted well with care and skill. They even doctored up one of bevies just the way we wanted. For mains we ordered the Ravioli Di Short Rib and Gnocchi. Oof mamma mia! Haha. Portions are great you will have leftovers for sure. Mi piace molto questo ristorante. Mangiamo!

Checked out this restaurant for date night. The food is made with fresh ingredients as well as some being imported from Italy. Authentic food is hard to beat these days. The service was top tier!! The place was clean and bathrooms too. Definitely a nice atmosphere. Plus I love the parking garage was free and had signs to let u know where the walkway to the restaurant was at. Signs again in the building to point u in the right direction too. Definitely a spot we’ll be returning to. So many food/drink options. We were stuffed but the fact that the food is clearly authentic sold us on getting dessert. I had to try the canolis since they were the real deal…so although stuffed i took a bite and brought them home… delicious! Also having the pasta here made me really wonder what olive garden is doing because there is a clear difference in quality The drinks are tasty and creative. And I love that the staff was very welcoming and knowledgeable about what the restaurant offers. Definitely visit this spot if you haven’t.

Stephanie was a great server. The Calamari is so fresh and seasoned beautifully! The ribeye with the black truffle sauce was so buttery with every bite. My server also surprised me with a small birthday desert.

Definitely would visit again. Thank you for the experience❤️.

Manchester’s hidden gem! We came in a few weeks ago on a whim, sat with Mike at the bar and found a happy hour that was insane. Incredible deals on apps but the service provided by Mike was impeccable.

We came back a couple weeks later and sat again at the bar again with Mike. We got tips on how to make my husband’s favorite drink a good ole old fashion.

The music was lively and the staff by far has been the most hospitable team that we have had in a long time. Watching as the whole team jaived together, bouncing from one end to the other anticipating the needs of their guests. Coming from the restaurant industry tho was so refreshing to witness them interacting will all their guests.

The food was delicious! The mussels and ribeye with rissoto my word! We had the pasta special which cant recall the name but the seafood and fresh made posts with the lightest lobster broth, AMAZING !

I wish that I would have gotten everyone’s names to give the team the well deserved praise they deserve. The whole team from the other talented bartender to the bar back, to the sweet Manager Crystal who checked in on us as we had our first cocktail to personally biding us farewell on our way out.

We enjoyed suck pleasant conversation with their entire team feeling like part of their special family! Even the guest surrounding us were engaging in conversation, something this day and age lacks.

From beginning to end this was an incredible night for my husband and I and to finish it off a warm handshake by the Chef himself! We will definitely be back with our friends and wish nothing more than to share this special place located right in our back yard!

Thank you all Steph and Kam!!
