We went here tonight for my wife’s birthday. The specials were phenomenal and the regular menu items that the kids had were also excellent. The ingredient was at peak freshness. The rosemary butter sauce on the steak was delicious and it was cooked to a perfect medium rare. The pasta was tender and filled with the freshest sea food. I heartily recommend Osteria Mare Blu!

The service is friendly and efficient. I so love this is a small family business, you can really feel the love and pride.
The food was amazing! You can tell chef only uses the freshest ingredients. The sauce is perfectly fresh tomato ripe sweet.
We had the octopus starter which was tender and delicious. The fish was flavorful and flaky and the pasta was perfectly cooked with a most delicious sauce. Fresh. Fresh. Fresh.
I also love that the chef changes the menu given what is in season.

Everything here feels genuinely homemade—in the best way. The food tastes like Nicola went to the local market, picked up fresh, high-quality ingredients, and cooked you a killer meal the way it should be done: simply and with care.
Small dining room, owner-chef cooking and serving, and food that’s clearly made for taste—not speed. One of those rare spots where you can actually taste the quality.

WOW! This place is going to be the next hot spot in the Orange County/Los Angeles area! Authentic Italian food, from the moment you walk in to when you take your first bite. This experience was so memorable. This place uses high quality ingredients and you can tell!

We came here on a Saturday evening right at opening and was a party of two.

Really bright and airy with blue accents but still warm and cozy vibes. I’m pretty sure many of the workers there are Italian which was so cool to hear them speaking!
//FOOD//
Me and my husband cannot stop raving about the food. In OC there’s like your standard pasta, and then there’s the pasta where you know it’s authentic – Al dente cooked pasta, fresh cheese, real high quality ingredients! THIS IS IT!
* Caesar salad: they use real anchovies and this padana cheese which was amazing! The salad was crisp and so tasty and the anchovy wasn’t overbearing at all.
* Beef carpaccio: another wow dish! I think there was some hint of truffle or something and greens. So delicious and the oil they used was light and nice. The beef was also soft and moist
*La tric and trac: an amazing Italian sausage and sherry pasta dish with rigatoni! So good and the mushrooms champignons were so amazing! Umami packed
* Pacherri di Gragnano alla Sorrenina: the highlight of our meal! San Marzano tomatoes and burrata – bursting with flavor but so simple! High quality ingredients that shine with each bite

Very authentic Italian food! I have been to Italy many times and it definitely makes you feel like you are there. Everything was homemade and delicious. We ordered the calamari and carpaccio for appetizer along with the gnocchi special and bolognese. They make the pasta in house. The service was amazing. Our server Filipo was attentive and fun. We will definitely be back!!! I highly recommend this place for an Italian small town feel and delicious food.

We had a very enjoyable meal at this new Italian spot on Main Street. Staff were friendly and the chef even came out to check on us. Vinyl tablecloths were an odd choice considering they already have to do laundry with the napkins, but the decor all matched. The pasta is fresh and cooked al dente with a good amount of chew. Flavors of sauce were authentic. The focaccia was tasty but the sliced bread felt as if it had been sliced a while ago and left sitting. Tasted good, but had that crusty feel where it should have just been soft. All the mains were delicious, however one member of the party was not a fan of the cioppino. Lots of seafood inside, but felt the flavor was off for them. We’d all go back. Would love to see how they cook the rib eye.

We had ordered from here via Doordash back in June, 2025 and the food was pretty good which is why we decided to reorder again tonight. The food was delivered promptly but, regrettably, was almost inedible. The rigatoni had to have been microwaved as it was hard as a rock as was the sausage. The meatballs in the other dish were similarly hard and completely inedible. With the large selection of all types of restaurants in this area, we definitely will not be wasting our money at this place again.

I brought my mother here to celebrate her 93rd birthday—it’s a special tradition we share, a little mini vacation close to home that she truly loves. You made the day unforgettable with your wonderful service and excellent food.
