We love this restaurant! Our server, Ana, was phenomenal — she went above and beyond to make sure we ordered dishes that perfectly matched our preferences.

They have a beautiful wine selection; we tried the Lambrusco and the Buca Juice, both of which were excellent. The entire experience felt thoughtful, warm, and delicious from start to finish. Highly recommend!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this Italian restaurant, and I can confidently say it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a warm, inviting atmosphere that perfectly captures the charm and comfort of traditional Italian dining. The décor is cozy yet elegant, with soft lighting, tasteful decorations, and a relaxed vibe that makes you feel right at home.

The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. They took the time to explain the dishes, recommend pairings, and check in without ever being intrusive. It’s clear that customer satisfaction is a top priority here, and that level of service really elevates the entire dining experience.

Now, the food—absolutely phenomenal. Every dish tasted fresh, authentic, and carefully prepared. The pasta was cooked perfectly, with rich, flavorful sauces that tasted homemade and full of depth. You can really tell that high-quality ingredients are used, from the fresh herbs to the cheeses and olive oil. The portions were generous without being overwhelming, striking a great balance between quality and quantity.

The pizza was another highlight, with a beautifully thin, crispy crust and just the right amount of toppings. Each bite was packed with flavor, and nothing felt overdone or greasy. The menu offers a great variety, whether you’re in the mood for classic Italian comfort food or something a little more refined.

First timer here. The food was excellent, but service was slow. However, we did have a large party. I personally enjoyed the burrata with stone fruit, aleppo & sumac spice, white balsamic, opal basil, and mint. And the sweet corn & crab ravioli, corn butter sauce, jumbo crab, scallion and chili oil. I’ll definitely be ordering from here again, but most likely takeout.

What an amazing dining experience. Robert, an owner, greeted us with a warm welcome and quickly sat us at a wonderful table. Our server, Garrett, quickly arrived and who could not have been more informative, attentive or charming. To start, he brought us a bottle of some absolutely delicious water. When I remarked how good it tasted, he informed us that they have their our own water filtering system. Next he brought us some warm freshly baked rosemary bread just out of the oven. Yummy!
We then ordered the crispy brussels sprouts and the artichokes that were amazing. We then splurged with some bucatini carbonara and capped it off their cream of butterscotch for desert.
I must say, I cannot remember when a restaurant has been as attentive, and the staff so amazingly congenial and attentive not to mention the restaurant was immaculate, and the music was quite also great.
We cannot wait to return and give our thanks to everyone at Osteria La Buca for making day so pleasant.

Beautiful restaurant, really nice atmosphere, and nice crowd at lunch – not too loud and not too busy. However, service was pretty lackluster even though it wasn’t very crowded. We were there for an hour and our entree hadn’t even come. The appetizers were mixed. The artichoke was phenomenal, crispy yum. The octopus was overcooked and eh. The crudo was spot on, good but tiny. Pasta was fresh and good, but its pasta. For the price, expected better service and better food. Pricey.

This place is fine, the food is fine, ambiance is sterile but it’s fine. It would have probably come back at some point until they hit me with the 5% “health fee.”

If your restaurant is charging an extra 5% on every bill then that is simply the cost and it should be reflected in the price of the menu. Instead, greedy owners like these want the employees to be the enemy of their customers and want us to blame their employees for the audacity of being able to see a doctor if they’re sick.

A dish being being $21 vs $20 makes no difference to a customer and they know this, but the owners here would rather us feel the employees putting in the work to line their pockets are the problem. It’s gross and I feel sorry for the employees that are clearly having their income affected by passive aggressive tactics like these.

…. won’t be coming back.

Been three times and think probably that’s it. Environment is trendy and modern, but service is slow and food is just ok – they don’t serve bread with olive oil and vinegar; some appetizers like artichoke is really disappointing. Pastas are pretty good though.

We were in our seats right on time. The staff was great providing great recommendations on dishes. The brussels sprouts were fantastic. The cavatelli and short rib ravioli were fantastic. The caramel budino was fantastic. Service and food were great. Highly recommend and will definitely go back to try the carbonara and bolognese.

I stumbled upon Osteria La Buca by accident while attending a meeting in the Valley. We found it online and decided to give it a try, and we were pleasantly surprised. The food was exceptional, the prices were very reasonable, and the authenticity of the Italian cuisine truly stood out. Without a doubt, it’s one of the best Italian restaurants I’ve discovered so far. The hostess was incredibly friendly and mind on our visit
