My wife and I made a same-day reservation for dinner and it was one of the best meals of our trip to Geneva. The restaurant itself is along a steep street that really gave an old-town feel.
The bolognese was stellar and the fish was also excellent. Staff were very attentive and the desserts at the end were also delicious.

An amazing place! I had an exceptional tartare and fettuccine with ragù served with an unlimited amount of freshly grated Parmesan – an absolute delight! The chef’s homemade ice creams are a true work of art: the nocciola (crunchy) and fiordilatte flavors would easily deserve a Michelin star. The restaurant is warm and welcoming, and the staff are smiling and very attentive. I highly recommend this place to all lovers of authentic Italian cuisine!

The olive oil tasting was very interesting, that was a nice feature course.

I booked a table for two, months in advance to guarantee that my friend and I will have seats. We thought we were the first ones to get there since my reservation was for 12:30 and it opens at 12:30, but there was already someone inside. I guess they are not so strict with the time.
We ordered:
1. Insalata di polpo all’Italiana (to share)
2. Acciughe del Cantabrico, crema di mozzarella pane e tostato (to share)
3. Fettucine al ragout di manzo dell ‘osteria (each)
2 and 3 were very good. The service is good (they will provide a tiny chair for your bag) and they’re friendly. The ambiance is also great.

Even though it was a Tuesday night at 9pm, it was packed and there was a wait. Everything on the menu was super expensive and it took a long time to get. But the presentation was very nice. It was a hot meal and a good proportion was served. The gnocchi was good but extremely soft. Too soft. The fettuccine with beef was very good. No one attended to us much throughout the meal but that was ok. We smelled a lot of other guests’ smoke which was not appealing.

The food was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. Small menu but something for everyone. The portions are generous so be prepared for a proper feast if you tend to order with “your eyes” as I did. Do not miss their ragù – it’s so so good!

Had an amazing meal at Osteria fella bottega a few weeks ago. The restaurant is located in the old town and they had set up tables outside during the summer. The food was excellent and the service really was impeccable; personal and not too stiff. The standout for me was the beef tongue croquette – the textures, the plating, the flavor – incredible! Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for an Italian place in geneva.
