From exceptional food to exceptional service! We absolutely loved this spot. The staff were so friendly, the atmosphere is also lovely. There was also live music! We ordered an appetizer and two mains. The quality of the food is great, I loved the arrabiata pasta dish! The kitchen also delivered a delicious little dessert on the house. If you are looking for a cozy little Italian place – this is it!

Great hostess. We didn’t have a reservation but we got seated quickly. Atmosphere was awesome. Live music just after we arrive around 8. Food was fantastic with good sized portions. I had the spaghetti bolognes (El ragu) and the wife had the gnocchi in a tomato sauce (gnocchi sorrentina). Definitely will go back.

Have only been here for a few days, but this has been by far the best meal we’ve had here. Granted, we’ve been turistas and just going to easily accessible restaurants to Mamita’s Beach. This place is located not along the main drag and so much more worth it. Not the best in the world italian i’ve had. But so much better than anything else we’ve had so far and worth going to. And after going here, totally better than the other Italian places we looked up.
Folks were super, super nice, gave excellent recommendations, appropriately attentive, great portion sizes, and super reasonably priced. Just totally a step up from other limited places we’ve tried.

The carbonara absolutely exceeded my expectations. Great dirty gin martinis – I made a special request for them and they followed my directions (I like a ratio of 4:1 and extra dirty and they came out perfect).
The affogato is BIG SIZE. And the fernet was a perfect close, hospitality brought us 2 extra complimentary treats to close the eve.

This is one of the best Italian meals I have ever eaten in my life. The owner is wonderful, the server Magda is perfection and I would eat here everyday if I lived in Playa del Carmen. This is a must see for everyone. Cacio e Pepe and the carbonara were literally unbeatable

So this place is run by Italian owners, has Italian employees and imports foods and ingredients from Italy so you are getting a true Italian food experience. The drinks were reasonably priced and tasted great. We had the prosciutto and melon for an appetizer. I was worried about the prosciutto but it was excellent. I got the fresh pasta with shrimp and my wife got the tartuffo gnocchi and she loved it. Probably the best Italian meal I’ve ever had in Mexico. I’ll be back!

Fresh made in-house pasta and all home made menu. The cochtails are great. We liked the Negroi and Aperol Spritz. It’s quiet, a few blocks from 5th Ave. so there isn’t a lot of foot traffic or vehicles. Reservations are recommended. We scored a table for two, only because we were there shortly after opening and observed several being turned away. There are inside and outside patio tables.

We had a great experience at this Italian restaurant. Our server, Yahir, was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was just right throughout our meal. We ordered a chicken dish and a pasta, and both were delicious—flavorful, well-prepared, and very satisfying. The service and food together made for a really enjoyable visit. We’ll definitely be back!

I had the Wednesday special, Oxtail with homemade gnocchi! I did takeout as I don’t live in Playa del Carmen. The space was decorated beautifully, the service 5* and the food was just incredibly delicious! The portion super generous and such a reasonable price! Thanks to my neighbours in Puerto Aventuras I found this amazing gem!

This place is brilliant! Our waitress and all the staff were lovely and attentive. Dinner was great, prices were very reasonable and the food felt very authentic. The Cacio e Pepe was one of the best we’ve had. There was live music and they have a cute pup! Would definitely recommend!!
