The food was TV dinner worthy and I actually like Tv dinners. The restaurant had a great atmosphere and the waitress was very friendly but the shrimp was tasteless and the spaghetti was not that much better. Don’t be fooled by the good pictures. I actually sent my shrimp back but the waitress was nice so I made sure I gave her a nice tip

Osteria was SO good — easily some of the best airport food I’ve had. I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs and it was absolutely delicious, and my boyfriend got the Wagyu burger which was a solid 10/10. Everything came out fast, fresh, and full of flavor. We had Andrea as our server and she was incredibly sweet and attentive. Even better, we had no wait and were in and out quickly. Highly recommend if you’re passing through the airport!

I wasn’t gonna come back here because my previous experience wasn’t the greatest.. I was eating and having a beer by myself around 11am, middle of the week. I’m eating and overheard a bartender/server talking about personal stuff (std) with some of the customers. Almost seemed like she was trying to get a better tip because of it, weird honestly. But today I had Kelsey who was the best. Not anything crazy just really good at what she does. Took care of me (wasn’t weird) I payed and left. My flight was better because of her. So thank you Kelsey.

The service was outstanding and everyone was super friendly and we loved the community serving approach. Our food came out very quickly, and the appetizer was excellent, although the pasta was a bit undercooked. Drinks were great, and overall, it was a good experience.

Had a great experience tonight! Our server, Stephanie, was very welcoming, friendly, and provided Top-Notch service! She had great suggestions for the menu and was very attendant. We were in town for a work meeting and ate at several nice steak houses where we were unimpressed with the service. We let Stephanie know she blew them all away! We’ll be back in town in a month and will ask for her next time.

Our flight was delayed and Osteria near our gate so we sat at the bar and split a $19.40 wagyu hamburger (quite good) and 4 beers at $12 each. Kelsie is a good server and friendly. The sign at the bar says ID is required to sit at the bar and order a drink which tells me management doesn’t trust the bartender/servers. I am 76 and playfully asked how old do I have to be to get a beer. She responded, as management probably mandates, that state law requires ID. I politely responded that In November 2024, Oklahoma passed Odell’s Law (HB 3571), which removes the mandatory requirement for businesses to check IDs before selling alcohol. While businesses are no longer required to check IDs, they, of course, can check ID’S for those who look younger than my 76 years of age. REPEAT:Businesses are no longer legally obligated to verify a customer’s age using an ID before selling alcohol.
Her back-up response is that the airport is “federal” and is mandated. Will Rogers is owned by the Oklahoma City Airport Trust i.e. the City of Oklahoma City. Probably more misinformation management tells employees. Personally, I consider it an imposition and a slight insult (did I mention I am 76?) to require an ID to verify I am of legal drinking age. This is the only Osteria I’ve patronized, but if all Osteria locations are senior unfriendly regarding spending money for a drink, I won’t be going.

My salad had brown lettuce and my grill chicken sandwich was raw. Waitress never came back or ask how our food was.

Sat at the bar in the OKC airport. Kelsie greeted us with such kindness and a wonderful personality. Yes, she ask for our ID, because that is her job and a requirement! We chatted when she had time and if ever back in the OKC airport we will come back because of her great service!!

Waited by the door for a few minutes while the hostess basically ignored me. I then asked another waitress who was rolling silverware if it’s ok to sit at the bar, she said ok. Unfortunately the remaining available bar chairs were dirty and had old pickle and food debris assuming from previous patrons. I then asked the same waitress who said it was ok to sit at the bar could I sit elsewhere because the bar seats weren’t serviceable. At this time the hostess the same hostess that ignored me while I stood in front then proceeded to tell me I needed to go back outside the restaurant and wait at the door, because I had to wait to be seated, a total contradiction from what at this point two other staff members said was ok. She then proceeded to explain how they have sections etc. pretty much became passive aggressive and rude look like because I didn’t wait on her even with her staff members basically doing her job. Needless to say I walked out. One thing I don’t do is pay for undesirable service. Had she not tried to get snarky with me I’d charge the whole encounter to a misunderstanding. However, the fact her co-workers not only tried to accommodate me but the fact she asked me to step out of a restaurant I’d at that point been welcomed in by at least two other staff members basically solidified that the original hostess did not want to serve me and look like proving a point regarding technicalities became first priority instead of serving me. Been flying through Will Rogers Airport for the past three years now and I must say this was the first “Karen” experience I’ve had here. Hopefully it will be the last.

Stephanie and Kelsie were the stars of the show today. Had about 2 hours before the flight and swung by the wine bar nearby only to be disappointed by the selection, fortunately found Osteria near my gate, and had a great experience. I’m not sure how these awesome two can be so lively considering the sheer number of grumpy travellers they must see, but they did everything in their power to brighten the experience. Definitely worth swinging by for a beer and the meatballs (it’s quick, even if you don’t have a bunch of time between flights).
