I adore this restaurant !!! The food is nothing short of spectacular. Each dish feels crafted with love and care.
The menu is the ultimate in sophistication.
What truly sets the experience apart is the staff. Jomara was an absolute delight! She was so attentive, genuinely friendly and she makes you feel very special. Her warmth adds to the authenticity of the experience..you’re not just having dinner, you’re sharing a piece of Amish Country hospitality. I rate Osteria an A+!

We always have such an amazing time when we come to osteria avanti! Service is always top tier, food always tastes amazing and comes out quickly, drinks are great! The environment is so peaceful, and it’s beautifully decorated. Everything always looks clean and well maintained. We can’t wait to return again! This will forever be one of our favorite date night spots.

What an amazing place! I surprised my husband as t a stay at the Inn at Leola Village. We stayed here for two nights. With that being said, first night we came here for dinner. It was absolutely great!

1st, service, Matt got us in the door and Emily was our server. We got the calamari, shrimp and scallops for appetizers then pork chop and penne with braised beef. Can I say it was incredibly delicious. We love good food and Osteria is by far one of the best places we’ve eaten at in awhile.

It was so good, our second night my husband wanted to go again! We came back and got the shrimp and scallops, and meatball sliders for appetizers. Again, delicious entrees was the steak tips and mushroom risotto which was good. The garlic in the risotto was top notch and the steak was perfectly cooked. My braised short rib I thought was okay. It needed something. But overall, absolutely great service, atmosphere and food.

We will be back!!

What an unexpected surprise. This quaint little restaurant is located in the beautiful Inn at Leola Village. The service by Eric was impeccable. He was Quick, courteous, and attentive. The food was out of this world. Try the Scallop and Shrimp Skewer appetizer. Not only was it delicious but it was almost a meal by itself. The Sicilian Sword Fish in Aqua Pazza entree was equally delicious, as was the Steak Tips entree . Looking for a little upscale restaurant while visiting Amish country, be sure to give it a try. You won’t be disappointed.

We had a beef carpaccio, Cesar salad, and linguini with shrimp. I loved that the shrimp was perfectly cooked (neither undercooked, nor overcooked), so that it was juicy and not too firm to the bite. The flavor of the linguini sauce seemed nicely balanced to me – it did not overpower the shrimp. I was pleasantly surprised that the Cesar salad appeared made in house with quality lettuce (too many restaurants nowadays substitute that with prepackaged, frozen ingredients), and the seasoning was also made in house from what seemed to me like quality ingredients (it did not have any of the “chemical” taste that generic Cesar salads usually have). The carpaccio’s flavor was also well balanced (ok, maybe a little on the tangy side), and nicely arranged on the plate.

For dessert we had the house made gelato. The hazelnut scoops stood out for flavor and creaminess, and the chocolate scoops were next best, with rich chocolate taste.

Expect to pay 25%-50% more than for a regular restaurant. Well worth the premium, in my view.

Very intimate (small) dining room. Only about 8 tables. I ordered Cacio e Pepe (added shrimp). Shrimp perfectly cooked, very creamy. Could have used more garlic and pepper. He ordered Beef Tips. A little tougher than preferred. Could have been seasoned more. Our waiter Alessandro was great. Mushroom Risotto was a standout, perfectly seasoned.

Wife and I had dinner here New Year’s Eve. We both ordered Filet Mignon. Wife’s was ok, not great and certainly not worth $65.
I had the same. Mine was overcooked, tough and not a all flavorful. I mentioned this to the server and all I got was an “i’m sorry”. On the positive side, the Manhattans were excellent.
Sadly, I would not go back.

As part of our stay at the inn, we ordered room service from this restaurant last night. It was INCREDIBLE. I don’t have any bad things to say about this place. The room service was quick and friendly, both for delivery and pickup afterwards. Jomara at the host stand was extremely personable and kind and she made the experience amazing. The braised beef and goat cheese penne dish was probably the best pasta I’ve ever tasted. Thank you Osteria Avanti!!!

We loved this upscale, cozy place for dinner. Emily was our server, and she was amazing! She suggested some really great items from the menu, and they were delicious. We had the Pork Belly Sliders. They were prepared with fried breaded mozzarella cheese, pork belly, and a nice sweet slaw on top served on nice soft slider buns. The order has 3 sliders on the plate. If I wasn’t ordering dinner, I could eat all 3 and be full. We also had the crispy Brussels Sprouts. They are the best Brussels in the area. They make it with sausage that is also crispy and drizzled with honey nice and warm and sprinkled with crispy toasted bread crumbs. My husband’s Sundried Tomato Pesto Fettuccine was out of this world, and my Thick Cut Pork Chop was cooked perfectly. Their dishes are well thought out and tasty. Fortunately, for the price, we were served plenty of food, and we have enough for another meal tomorrow night at home. Unfortunately, their Cappuccino Machine needs a new part, and we couldn’t have that. However, order regular coffee for 2, and you get your own pot on the table with extra if you want more. For my Birthday, it was our first time here, and we will definitely be back. Thankyou for a nice, quiet table as requested.

The second time there tonight was just as amazing as the first time. We told ourselves we need to do more often. My husband got another exceptional pasta dish with Penne and braised beef with mushrooms. I got the Zucchini Noodles. We haven’t been for awhile and I was happy to see they were still on the menu. Done perfectly with the peaches, tomatoes and mushrooms. So good. Our salad was a large one that we shared. Amazing with prosciutto, tomatoes, orange segments, shrimp and scallops. Definitely need to get that again. If my husband doesn’t want to share it I’ll take half of it home so I can have dinner too. Can’t wait to go back.
