I cannot express how much we genuinely love this place. We go for my birthday every year, and we’ve now vowed to start going even more with how exceptionally they treated us tonight. They had a party reserve the whole restaurant after we had already made reservations, but they kept our reservations and saved us a nice spot instead of requesting we change our reservation to another night. We are incredibly grateful! They treated us so well, and even brought me a canolle when they overheard me say something to my partner about them. Luana, our server, was so kind and so attentive to us. She even noticed my birthday on my ID when we ordered drinks. I already gush to everyone about this restaurant and recommend it always – saying to order the Osteria Amore, even though everything we’ve ever had there has been incredible – but I feel like I need to shout it from the rooftops after our amazing experience this evening. Incredible restaurant, amazing staff, yummiest food you’ll ever eat, delicious cocktails, and all around my favorite spot.

The food was authentic Italian. Fresh ingredients and superb quality. The service was prompt and courteous. The atmosphere was a tad lacking, resembling the bones of a diner. Parking was a nightmare as well.

Overall, Osteria Amore was a great Italian restaurant. A must visit to experience authentic Italian.

My overall grade for Osteria Amore is: A

We went here for a birthday celebration for a total of six people. The restaurant called an hour before the event to confirm. Our birthday girl asked for a specific type of table location which the restaurant said would be no problem.
Upon arriving, we apparently didn’t approve of the table location, so a request was made to move us. The restaurant was gracious enough to accommodate us.
Finally seated, appetizers were delicious. Calamari was a standout and the meatballs, delicious. I just wish we had ordered a pizza to share as they look delicious and we will return just to try it.
The service was excellent and attentive. Jason was top notch.

Main courses were all delicious. We passed plates all over the place so everyone could sample. Pastas were homemade. I ordered the Osteria Amore pasta. Great.
Desserts came, but I did not try them. Good feedback from our party.
Overall, worth the trip to eat here. We will absolutely be back. Highly recommended.

My wife and I visited Osteria Amore for the first time for our anniversary, and unfortunately the experience fell far below expectations. The restaurant was highly recommended to us by a professionally trained chef, so we expected an elevated evening. Instead, the portions were extremely small, service was slow, and the integrity of our server, Kelsey M., was in serious question.

We were never brought a second serving of bread despite requesting it, and the truffle pasta I ordered was particularly disappointing. The server promoted the white truffle pasta with shaved truffles as a special, but she failed to disclose that the truffles were an extra charge. The pasta dish itself was only around $20, yet the 2 oz. of truffle shavings cost $42 on top of that—more than double the base price of the entrée. The portion was also extremely small, approximately 7 oz., and gone in just a few bites. My wife’s entrée was similar in size: her dish consisted of only six raviolis.

We also later learned that anniversary guests are offered a complimentary dessert, but this was never mentioned by Kelsey. Instead, we were encouraged to order desserts, which resulted in three desserts on the table unnecessarily. It became clear that the server was upselling and inflating our bill rather than being transparent or thoughtful.

For a Wednesday evening reservation at 5:30 PM, the entire dinner still took about 1.5 hours, and we were seated next to a guest with a dog. Given the tiny portions, lack of disclosure, slow pacing, and overall poor service, we left hungry and disappointed. We had expected a pleasant anniversary dinner and instead felt misled and overcharged.

This was our first visit, and unfortunately it will be our last. We left feeling taken advantage of rather than taken care of, and we genuinely regret choosing this restaurant for such an important occasion.

The staff was excellent with managing our food allergy requests! The food looked beautiful but was lacking in a few ways. The pesto risotto lacked flavor and the rice grains were still raw and crunchy in the middle. The ribeye was flavorful but we ordered it medium and it arrived as a mix of rare and well done. I would not recommend the food for the price point. It was a nice experience but nothing
was exceptional enough to bring me back.

I wish I could give this a better review- unfortunately I can’t with a good conscience.
We went on Christmas eve. We made reservations weeks in advance and we were early. Our reservations were at 7:15 we arrived around 7. We did not want to chance keeping any of the staff later then needed.
1st we were sat at an EXTREMELY small table. There were 2 in our party so we didn’t need a large table by any means but the table was so small that the appetizer HAD to be removed before the main dish could be brought to the table.
2nd- when my partner ordered the main dish his exact words were we will both have the lasagna Verde. The dishes should have been the same. When our meals came out mine was in some sort of queso cheese looking sauce not the bolognese as stated. The longer it sat the thicker it became and I was unable to even taste the lasagna.
After 5-10 minutes of attempting to get the waiters attention he finally came by. I asked what the sauce was and why it was not the same as the other. He acknowledged it was definitely not the same but didn’t know what it was. I explained that there didn’t seem to have any meat and it wasn’t good. He offered to replace it “to go” as it was getting late, and that was his only resolution. If I wanted to eat my meal at home, I would’ve stayed home and cooked. We were there to enjoy the night out together and enjoy what we hoped a good meal at a nice restaurant.
I did not eat a quarter of the lasagna because it just was not good. In all fairness my partners dish seemed pretty good.
Normally, I would ask for a manager but due to being Christmas eve I didn’t want to make a scene- I was very surprised when the check came and he didn’t offer to discount the inedible food. Perhaps this is normal practice for this restaurant I honestly don’t know. It was our first and it will be our last time at this restaurant.

I’m sooo excited to give Osteria Amore 5 stars! This was for an 11:30am lunch reservation for two on a Friday. We were sat immediately, no wait. The beets and burrata opened the show. The beets were prepared lovingly and were tender and earthy. Paired with the creamy burrata and olive oil – perfection. The Margherita pizza was wood fired and delectable. The tomato sauce, cheese, and basil all did their appropriate thing for the palate. The star of the whole show was the pear and Gorgonzola ravioli. The unctuous smoky Gorgonzola coupled with the sweet pear and the creamy dreamy sauce made me think of Naples. The healthy shaving of truffles on top rounded out this rich, delicious experience. We thought we couldn’t do dessert but when the words “creme brûlée” left our servers lips I knew it was a done deal. The brûléed top was a little thin for my taste but the custard was delightful and I had no regrets! I can’t wait to return for dinner.

My husband and I celebrated our 18th year anniversary tonight and enjoyed a fantastic meal, and one of the most beautiful evenings. The food was amazing, the service, (Luana)was absolutely perfect, and the ambiance, busy but quaint. A mere perfect evening. Thank you for helping us celebrate!

The atmosphere is really nice in here, making it great for a date night. But the food was simple and I felt like it was not worth the price as it was a bit expensive. I ordered a burrata pizza and it was just chopped cherry tomatoes and cheese on bread with a vinaigrette – pretty simple and I could have made it at home. I tried a piece of pasta from my friend’s plate and it was pretty decent, but also probably not worth 20 something dollars
