Pretty good. Not a major wow factor to return often, unfortunately. But I had a good time. I had the pesto risotto, which could do with more simmering and the rice grains needed a bit more time to moisten. Taste wise, not bad at all. Beet salad was good.

Osteria Ama is a fantastic Italian restaurant. We were there for lunch, so we only got the pizza pies. They were fantastic. I can’t wait to go back for desert. The prosuito pizza was the best of the four. Really tasty. The kids like how they stared the meal with some bread and oil. The oil was really good.

We just dined at the newly opened location on Chestnut St across from Target. The food was phenomenal! I had a spicy spaghetti which was delicious and my SO had the lobster ravioli special which had a lobster claw on top of the ravioli as well as crab meat, mussels and shrimp. He has not stopped raving about it and he takes his food seriously! We also had the chickpea and pita appetizer and split the Caesar salad which had a different spin of roasted corn kernels- so good! Food prices are reasonable and it’s a byob. Welcome to the neighborhood!

Wanted to try a new spot for dinner and Osteria Ama did not disappoint! I had an appetizer special that was the perfect portion before my pasta entree. Appreciated the selections on both the main menu and the specials. Wonderful atmosphere – honestly surprised it wasn’t packed – hoping folks will try this restaurant if they’re thinking of a new place along 202 that compares to a West Chester or Wilmington establishment.

What a wonderful meal we just had at Osteria Ama. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable, and really added to the whole experience. We sampled 3 pasta entrees that were all delicious. Penne alla vodka, Parpadelle pesto, and Gnocchi al Ragu and they were all fantastic!! Will definitely be back if in the area again. Thank you Osteria Ama for a wonderful dining experience!
