If you’re craving authentic Italian food cooked by an Italian Chef himself, I highly recommend you visit this quaint little restaurant in Roma Norte to get your fix. Personally, I can’t get enough of the pappardelle la salchicha pasta & the hijo con jamon serrano pizza. And this is coming from a very picky Italian herself! Provecho!

Osteria 8 is the best Italian restaurant in the city! The food is incredible–I have been multiple times and have tried nearly everything on the menu, which is easy to do as the food is THAT GOOD. Fresh, housemade pastas. Pizzas and foccaccia (that I would eat daily if I could) that are also made in house with 3-day fermented masa madre. The salads are beautiful, light and bursting with flavor, and the main courses are what food dreams are made of. Pair it all with a bottle or 3 of wine and you’re in for one of the best meals ever. In a city with no shortages of restaurants, Osteria 8 is my go to, and is the standout for its quality, ambiance, satisfaction, and dependability–it never misses!

This is my second time here. I have to say, the past two years I’ve been here, I have not been disappointed. The servers are attentive and super friendly. I want to say I come for the food but also for the servers, they are lovely people. I have ordered the pizza and pastas, and you can’t go wrong with any of them. It’s fun to explore their menu. Also, their chili oil is delicious, you have to buy a jar.

Very good casual Italian food. Pizzas are good, might need to upgrade the dough for it to be excellent. The pastas are pretty good as well but again, needs a bit more to be considered excellent. If you sit outside, prepare yourself to be bombarded by street vendors, beggars, and musicians. You can’t beat it for the price charged.

We ordered a couple pizzas and one of the pasta dishes. Everything was so tasty and fresh. The pasta sauce was excellent. The pizzas were soooo good! One pizza could probably feed 2 people.
Excellent service and drinks completed the experience. All I can say is go and check it out. You’ll be happy you did!
