We visited Osteria 500 as a group of four, and overall it was a very enjoyable experience. The food was excellent, with well-prepared dishes full of flavor. The cocktails were also a highlight—very well made and perfectly paired with the meal.
The views and atmosphere are beautiful, creating a great setting to relax and enjoy the evening, whether with friends or family.
Our server was friendly, though it seemed they were handling too many tables that day, which caused the service to be a bit slower than expected. That said, we completely understand and it did not take away from our overall experience.

Being originally from Italy, we’re very particular about Italian cuisine — and we can confidently say the food here is truly authentic Italian, not Italian-American. Every dish reflected the real flavors of Italy, from the quality of the ingredients to the careful, elegant presentation. You can taste the freshness and the attention to detail in every bite.
The restaurant was completely packed, yet the service was still impeccable. The staff remained attentive, professional, and gracious throughout the evening, which made the experience even more impressive.
The wine list was outstanding as well thoughtfully curated and perfectly suited to complement the menu.

I went to lunch with friends and we sat outside. It was a great atmosphere and such a fun time! Jacob was our waiter and absolutely phenomenal. The gingerbread martini was fantastic and the Pesto Gnocchi was delicious.
One of my friends needs to eat gluten-free, and she really enjoyed her pasta dish. Highly recommend, we’ll be back for sure.

They have a huge outdoor seating with the lake view which is amazing after 730. They served authentic Italian coffee and desserts. Ask about the wine and limoncello drinks!
Our server wasn’t as good as the food, He has some attitude that we definitely didn’t like, however all the other staff were very friendly and ask about our needs so kind. We definitely will come back (and seat in a different section for sure).

I’ve been dying to try this place and glad I finally did! Cute restaurant with authentic meals from Napoli, for sure! I could sit and look around at all the personal touches, any time! Eggplant parm was top notch by the way and the gnocchi to die for! It’s expensive, but the perfect place when you really want to treat yourself!

Beautiful restaurant, but the food was absolutely terrible and for the price not worth it better off going to olive garden honestly. The lasagna was extremely salty and tasted like it came straight out of a can. My wife’s pasta was just as bad — overly salty and clearly not fresh calimari was soggy as well. We tried ordering something else and it was the same story. Whoever is cooking needs to seriously learn how to use salt. Nice place, awful food.

It was impressive watching how well they worked together — not just at our table, but ensuring every guest upstairs received the same attentive level of service. However, Vincenzo was aware of it, and we actually saw him go back to the kitchen himself to grab it and bring it straight to our table — which we really appreciated. Thank you, Vincenzo, for going the extra mile.
Overall, a great service experience with a few areas the kitchen could tighten up.

Recommended by a friend who disagreed with the 4.4 star rating…and I agree with my friend! Luca was our server today – very friendly and provided great service. The food was excellent. The menu at face value was not so veg-friendly but they were happy to omit the meat ingredients. Had the lentil soup, Tartufo pizza (no sausage) and the Pappardelli Mamma Mia, all were excellent!! Will definitely return!
