The food was delicious! The salad was fresh and well seasoned! I forgot the name of the dish but it was very tasty! I had a drink and it was great! The service was great! Prices are reasonable! It’s nice inside but a little tight. The meatballs were not the best. The sauce was mainly on the bottom and dry overall. I would try the restaurant again. I had to take a star off. The was a small black hair on the side of the meatballs when they came out. The server quickly replaced them.

The handmade pastas are a standout—delicate, flavorful, and perfectly paired with house-made sauces crafted fresh daily. Whether you go for ravioli, tagliolini, or gnocchi, you’re in for something truly special. Plus, the wine list is exceptional, with over 70 thoughtfully curated and affordable options that complement the menu beautifully.

First off service here is amazing. All the staff treated us very well! Food was equally as delicious. So hot and fresh! Lasagna came out is a very hot dish. So amazing and tasty. Salads were fresh and crisp. Definitely a place I will be back to visit.

Wow wow wow. Got the crepes and chefs salad to start. The seafood fra diavolo, grouper, and halibut special for mains. And tiramisu for dessert. Everything was SO SO good. They had tons of daily specials which all sounded great. Great service, clean, and cute interior. They also grow fresh herbs right in front of the restaurant!

Had the pleasure of dining here. The food was FABULOUS! Service lacked a tad, but it was a busy night, so we let that slide. All of our meals were fantastic- the Pork Chop was so tender and flavorful, the Chicken Francese was outstanding and the Shrimp Scampi was over the top. This spot will be high on our list to revisit!!

About a month ago we were dining at another local Italian restaurant and asked the server if he knew where we could find tartufo (an Italian dessert). He suggested we try Osteria as he thought they had it on the menu the last time he dined there. We noticed they have something similar on the menu called The Bomba so we decided to try Osteria. Let me say, this is now my favorite Italian restaurant in Greensboro. The Wild Mushroom Risotto is my favorite dish. Since that first visit we’ve been three more times and I can say the Wild Mushroom Risotto is consistently perfect. My husband has tried the Wild Boar Rague, Boscaiolo Fettuccine, Lamb Shank with Risotto, and Strozzapretti and I sampled some of each. All excellent. We’ve also tried some of their specials like the Stuffed Zucchini Flowers and the Mushroom Puree Soup. Both absolutely delicious. Although we’ve not tried everything on the menu I’m convinced you cannot go wrong with anything you order here. The atmosphere is intimate and romantic. The servers are friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. I highly recommend this establishment.

The experience for the 1st time visiting was not like most upscale restaurants that I’ve visited. At some moments it was a uncomfortable as if many people of color doesn’t dine much at this establishment. The waitress was good and was very attentive. The food was okay but I feel that single entrées should come with a complimentary side, regardless. The atmosphere was very dull and like most upscale places, the whole staff and management wants to make everyone welcome. I didn’t get that at all. Will there be a next time…probably not.

I went to Osteria last night for the first time. It was probably the worse food I’ve ever been served in a restaurant. The Caesar salad was the only thing that was good. I got Veal Scaloppine Piccata. The veal was tasteless, I asked for pasta instead of potatoes, that was an extra charge. The spaghetti was overcooked. The sauce on the veal and spaghetti was gelatinous goo and so salty I couldn’t eat it. My husband got the halibut, it was also tasteless.

Excellent Italian food! We had the octopus appetizer special, Squid ink pasta with seafood fra diavolo and veal saltenbuco. Each were fabulous choices reminiscent of eating in Italy. Lots of Italian wines to choose from thou many are cheaper table varieties with the customary US markup. You’ll need to spend more money to find something interesting, but that wasn’t in the cards for us this time. The Tiramisu dessert was unique and very delicious. The wait staff was attentive and helpful in understanding the menu options. We’ll be back over and over and over!

Food is extremely good, very fulfilling. The restaurant could be a little more spacious but overall the experience was wonderful. I will definitely be revisiting again.
