Friendly and accommodating service. Food was tasty and unique. Our appetizers, polenta fries and burrata bruschetta were fun! The gnocchi with sausage and spinach was very good. The seasonal risotto with asparagus, peas, and prosciutto was innovative and great. Prices are very reasonable for big lunch portions. We’ll be back!

We ended up coming here because everything else was closed on a Monday night in Springfield. I am very glad everything else was closed. This was an excellent meal with excellent service. The only reason the atmosphere got a four stars was because the air conditioning was a little too high and we got cold. Allie is an absolutely wonderful, adorable, attentive server. The bartender made the best espresso martini I’ve ever had. We will return. Cudos to you all!

First time here! The salad, bread, and wine were spectacular. Oh, and the desserts!!! My risotto was well undercooked, but the salmon was perfect. My partner’s carbonara was absolutely delicious, he just wished the portion was larger (compared to the risotto, it was nearly a half serving of food!)

What a perfect experience! Sat at the bar for a dinner date and had the best time. The restaurant is inviting and elegant, and I love their bar layout because it’s roomy and very comfortable. I had some version of a strawberry craft cocktail that was perfectly made to order, the warm ricotta app was a favorite, my salmon Florentine over risotto was delicious, and the service was warm and knowledgeable. There are so many things I want to try on the menu and all of it was so fresh, I’ll be back often!

One of the best gems in Springfield. The owners are the sweetest. You feel like family when you walk in the door. The ambience is dark and moody but cozy. Incredible wines & cocktails along with apps. I’ve never had any of their main dishes because I just can’t get enough of their pasta dishes! My favorite is their pesto, however last night I had their gnocchi siciliana and it was out of this world! Highly recommend this special restaurant!

Aesthetic – Oisteria is a modern place with room between tables, and it is comfortable to have a conversation without being on top of the next party. Lovely modern décor that made me feel comfortable.
The restaurant is perfect for a date or a corporate meal as long as you have enough to say because you will wait forever for everything. Since there is enough space between tables, it is not loud even when busy.
After ordering drinks, we could not see the server anywhere to ask for anything. We had time to eat, and the server came once to check on us, but then the server disappeared, and we could not locate her even if we tried.
We ordered dessert, which was a mistake because it took as long as the meal to arrive, and the people who ordered felt terrible for those who did not because it was agony to wait.
Being a corporate gathering, we were tired and hungry and wanted our meals promptly; we were not asking for fast food service, but they took too long.
Then we asked for the check, and the waiting continued as long as the meal and the dessert. We ran out of things to discuss; the table started getting quiet, and everyone started commenting about the slow service. We enjoyed the gourmet food and the environment.

Read all the reviews before making a reservation. Sadly service was poor, received a refill of water after our meal was complete, never asked how anything was or if we needed something else. Charcuterie was the chefs selection, basic, entrees were good just expected more with a 4.7 rating average. Chicken was very dry and lacked seasoning, the vodka sauce was rich and delicious. I did like the wine menu and suggestions by cuisine.

We started with bread and a fantastic white bean dip that had great kick. Yum. We also ordered the arancini which were out of this world delicious. I’ve had many and these were huge and by far the best!
The dressing on the Caesar salad was awesome. As were the focaccia croutons.
The stars of the show were the Black Pepper short ribs with risotto and the pasta carbonara with guanciale. Phenomenal! Chef’s kiss.
We also loved the zeppole! So damn good!
The homemade limoncello and orangecello complimented the dessert well as the zeppole had orange zest throughout them.
What a treat. We had a great meal from start to finish. We’re thrilled we found this place. It was a special meal and we couldn’t have been happier with our experience.

Wow! We went to Osteria for a date night and were totally blown away. We are from NYC and don’t usually expect to find Italian food that is up to our standards in western MA but Osteria completely delivered!
This is a new restaurant so I hope they can keep it up but everything was 5 stars. However, it was pricy for the area so keep that in mind if you decide to go.
The food was delicious. We ordered the Arrancini, Caesar Salad, Bolognese, and a seafood pasta I am blanking on the name of. Everything was amazing. The Arrancini was my favorite and I highly recommend you try that. Perfect crisp with a soft delicious inside. Pasta was all homeade and you could tell. Very fresh. Really no complaints on the food other than the bread being pretty average.
Service was the standout here as they went above and beyond to make sure you were happy and satisifed. You could tell the staff was working cohesively and actually enjoyed their jobs which made for a great dining experience. Big shout out to the staff here.
The atmosphere was also great. Think trendy Italian with an almost old school vibe. Also, I absolutely loved the Bar. It is MASSIVE and really well built.

Update: Osteria recently went through a change in their Executive Chef and it shows. The food is made with much more care and it’s translating to an overall better product and experience. Definitely one of my favorite restaurants to go to in Springfield.
My girlfriend and I like to come here every Monday evening for the $10 menu. We always try something new and are rarely disappointed. The food is satisfactory and the wait staff is very pleasant. We enjoy sitting at the bar and conversing with the bartender. There’s certainly some room for improvement in some areas but all in all, we’re always pleased when we come here.
