We had a great experience at Ospi Brentwood. From start to finish, everything was on point. The food, the service, and the drinks.

We tried several pizzas: the Copione, Pepe-Roni, Hapa, and Funghi. All were delicious, though the Funghi was our least favorite the mushrooms were just a bit overpowering for our taste. The Arugula Salad was incredibly refreshing with the perfect amount of lemon juice. We also had the Spicy Rigatoni with vodka sauce, which was absolutely delicious and full of flavor.

The cocktails came out quickly, and the food was served just as fast. Everything arrives hot and fresh, so be ready to dig in right away. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience, and we’ll definitely be back.

Beautiful restaurant, amazing food, been a few times now, and each experience has been excellent! Our server was also excellent, very knowledgeable, nice, attentive!

Our favorites and no particular order :

Spicy rigatoni, à la vodka sauce, if you want to add protein, I highly recommend the meatballs

Chicken Parm with vodka sauce

Caesar salad

Kale almond salad

Spaghetti and meatballs

Thank you very much, my family and I will definitely be back to try more!

My girlfriend and I went went for Valentine’s Day and had a great time. Our serve Christian was amazing and gave us great recommendations. My food on the other hand (spicy rigatoni) came out not cooked all the way but Christian instantly helped us figure it out. Will be coming back specifically because of Christian.

An overall okay experience. Nothing was outstanding in our opinion. The crispy brussels sprouts were good. The pasta were fine.

But, we were mostly disappointed with the dessert – they make it a big deal with the full presentation (and the price that goes with it), but in the end you get regular ice cream and brownies from the store – so definitely not worth it.

I don’t know if they still serve that dessert, but that was not a good way for us to end our experience.

These bad reviews must be from when this location was still Jenna di Mare, which was not good.

I went to the new Ospi last night and it was 4.5 stars! I highly recommend going. They had an issue with my reservation for 6 ppl not saving properly on a very busy night, but they still figured out a way to accommodate us quickly.

Appetizers: calamari, kale salad & cauliflower were all crowd pleasers

Pizzas: vodka & margherita we delicious (super thin crust, great crust:sauce:cheese ratio and my favorite pizza in LA!!)

Pastas: spicy rigatoni (fine but a little light on the sauce), raschiatelli (good), bolognese (good) – none of the pastas blew me away and I think are better overall at Ospi Venice

Entrees: butter chicken and crispy sole were soooo good

Dessert: tiramisu espresso soft serve sundae was also great

Jemma in Brentwood: I was so excited as supposedly it’s East Coast- Italian my Hood. The fried Calamari was tender and crispy and not chewy, one of the best I have ever had. The rest? Ummm, well, don’t bother. The Caesar salad was basically buttermilk, no taste of the egg aioli and lacked anchovy . Even the parm was mediocre. The veal parm was free range but it was flat and forgettable. The kampachi ceviche was too fishy (but I can be over sensitive about these things nobody else thought so) . Both pastas were under 1-2 min. . The very expensive sole was deep fried, a fact they left off the menu. The service was very good and appropriately attentive so there’s that. We brought 4 bottles and they waived two corkage and it still was $200 per couple. You’re welcome for saving you the trouble of going.

It was our daughter and son in law’s turn to celebrate my wife’s birthday. They chose Jemma Di Mare in Brentwood, Los Angeles, and it was an exquisite experience. This charming restaurant, curated by the talented husband and wife team, Jackson and Melissa Kalb, truly embodies the essence of a neighborhood gem.

Located in the heart of Brentwood, Jemma Di Mare offers a delightful menu featuring hand-rolled pastas, seafood classics with a creative twist, sandwiches, and salads, all crafted from locally sourced, market-driven ingredients. As a seafood-focused Italian American restaurant, they excel in delivering a memorable dining experience.

Their menu boasts a range of signature dishes, from timeless classics like linguine alle vongole and spicy eggplant parmesan to contemporary interpretations like polenta cake with Kaluga caviar and kanpachi crudo siciliana. My personal highlight was the spicy homemade rigatoni pasta with vodka sauce; it was a culinary masterpiece. The pasta had the perfect al dente texture, and the flavors were simply outstanding. To kick off the meal, the garlic bread was heavenly and set the tone for what was to come.

The service at Jemma Di Mare was impeccable. Our waiter was attentive, accommodating, and went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was exceptional. To top it off, they surprised us with a delightful birthday dessert, which added a sweet touch to the celebration.

The restaurant’s ambiance was warm and welcoming, with tasteful decorations that enhanced the overall dining experience. As for convenience, the valet parking with validation made it hassle-free to access this culinary gem.

In summary, Jemma Di Mare is a must-visit for those seeking a refined yet approachable dining experience in Brentwood. With outstanding cuisine, impeccable service, and a charming atmosphere, it’s the perfect place for special occasions or a memorable night out.

I ordered from Ospi Brentwood on Saturday the 14th, Valentine’s Day. We did a pick up order of two pastas and a salad. Our entire order was wrong. Neither of the pastas we ordered nor the salad were correct. I understand this may happen once in a while but it was the lack of customer service that made it worse. Only a sorry was given to us. I’ve never been to a restaurant of this caliber and had an entire food order go wrong and only received a sorry. You would think they would compensate in other ways. So just make sure you check your food order before leaving and don’t expect much responsibility.

Just moved to the neighborhood and heard of the other restaurants in this group. The space is great and service is on top of it. We got the garlic bread, panzanella, tagliatelle, and fish of the day and butter pasta for my 10 month old. Everything came out super fast, well prepared, not too big portion sizes. The best / most unique was the panzanella. We did not get it but the Sunday cart was massive and impressive for any kid ordering. Will definitely be back.
