This was our first time visiting this seafood restaurant in Winder and overall it was a good experience. Our server was very helpful and knowledgeable about the menu items. We ordered the Crab Cakes as an appetizer and they were amazing. I absolutely loved the sauce on the Cajun Mahi Tacos(not too spicy) although the fish could have been cooked a little lighter. We also had the Shrimp and Lobster Bisque and it was incredibly creamy and flavorful.

We went there about 30 minutes before close time. I guess we got what was left over or the grill was shut down. The fries were really cold, the burger bun was falling apart as if it was old bread. How do you mess up fried shrimp? It lacked flavor, breading was falling off. The server was not welcoming, actually seemed bothered. It was late, kids were hungry. Will I be back, probably not. Money not well spent!

Great service and excellent mix of entrees and items on their menu. Oysters, shrimp and Seafood Gumbo are my favorites. Jalapeño Cheese Hush Puppies are something to try and consider.

Not a fan of the raw gulf oysters, but the seafood bisque was awesome. My server was fun and she took the offending oysters off the check. A wide variety of menu items for a seafood joint! Super kitsch and fun.

Bridget was out waitress and she recommended what she loved and was spot on! We had the crab dip, the mango shrimp appetizer, and Cajun rajun pasta with garlic bread. Will definitely return!

Pretty ok. If you’re in winder and want to stay local then this is probably a good choice. If you are able to go to Athens or Buford you will have better choices around the same price point.
Highlights – bisque soup was good, the host was very friendly and attentive, the server was nice as well.
Growth areas – the wait time for food was over 40 minutes from when we ordered, the redfish was pretty dry for a market price meal, and the drink cups were super small which required constant refills that put more work on the server (hence the wait times). The shrimp Poboy was not lacking in bread but VERY lacking in shrimp.

My husband and I ordered a hamburger. We read they had good burgers. What a disappointment. The meat was spoiled. We couldn’t eat them. They are all premade from their vendor. I wanted a good homemade burger. She comped the burgers. The store bought burgers are $$$$. The restaurant was dead.

Walked in and was greeted by Paige and her smiling face. Started with the fried green tomatoes. Perfection. Best I’ve ever had. The remi dipping sauce is excellent. The food came out and the plating was beautifully done. Sweet tea is true southern tea. I had the Shrimp Poe Boy, fries & side salad. Josh had the stuffed Grouper and coleslaw (absolutely original take). Hot crispy, straight out of the fryer fries with the most crisp lettuce and vegetables. And the Poe boy… the bread was toasted, buttered and the sandwich was all constructed seconds before hitting the table. Not a bite of soggy bread. Outstanding meal and experience. First time and I was blown away. They really care about the food quality here. If you get a chance, do not miss this gem!!!!!
