They give you terribke portion size for take out. I also ordered teriyaki and there is none it’s dry and has about 7 pieces of steak and not even a cup of rice. Don’t go here

My family and I have a mountain cabin here, and we tried the Oshu House for the first time the other night, what a great experience! The servers were incredibly kind and helpful, the food was delicious, and our whole family had an amazing time. We will definitely be back!

Stopped in W Jefferson from out of town. Definitely worth the stop! Great food, service is fantastic. Refreshing! Food comes out quickly and hot and exactly as you requested. I had the hibachi steak w mushrooms and soup. Very, very good. Husband had jumbo shrimp and brocooli. He said it was the beat shrimp he’s ever had. We travel a lot and eat out often. Check them out!

Scallops and broccoli were very good. Carrots and rice rounded out the meal well. I preferred everything without the sauce that was served with the meal, but I can see where some people would appreciate the addition. Overall, a very nice alternative to the usual fast food or meat-and-potatoes fare.

Fairly new to the area in the past 8 months. Decided we wanted to give Oshu a try. It was an excellent dining experience! From the starter salad to the main course, everything tasted fresh and well prepared! We’ll be back for sure.

Picked up take-out from here on a snowy night, staff and restaurant seemed really nice and clean, but the food especially (I ordered steak and chicken hibachi, my wife veggie hibachi) was not great. Both the steak and chicken were very dry and didn’t have much flavor at all and my wives veggies were… slimy. The fried rice was okay but not worth the $20 price tag they are asking. Leaving only 2 stars because I would like to go in-person to see if I get a different experience.

Took my friend to an early dinner at Oshu, and it was so good. Very clean up to date business with polite wait staff! Service was quick. I had the teriyaki chicken and my friend had the hibachi chicken. Both were very good! They also do take out. Will definitely go back.
