Reviews
Good:
– So much variety and quality Thai food
– I liked the pad Thai and the pad see ew, classic dishes but they were very solid
– Tasty papaya salad and crab Rangoon appetizers
– Good ambiance nice and quiet for large group
– Very nice staff who were were attentive
Bad:
– Food takes a while to come out but it’s worth the wait
Overall this was a great place for a private group dining experience
However, the Montgomery location fell short of our expectations. Our party of three ordered their Boat Noodle Soup, Pad See Ew, and Tom Kha Noodle Soup.
All three dishes were mediocre. The Boat Noodle Soup was lukewarm and lacked flavor. My Pad See Ew noodles were also lukewarm and were not chewy. The Tom Kha was probably the most decent item, but that is being generous.
Service was friendly, and the atmosphere was pleasant, but those aspects don’t make up for the quality of the food.
I hope this was an isolated event as I’ve had nothing but positive experiences at Osha up to this point.
It was a bit confusing if I should’ve sat myself but opted to wait and a diaper gentleman sat me at a table for 1.
They had a large party but despite that I had a good experience and the food was great.
Would return
The interior is really modern and neat, nice flowers and plants at the common area.
The food was excellent
We had the crispy prawns with mango as a starter. It was so delicious we forgot to take a photo of it. It was so fresh and tasteful.
The curry duck was very big portion and the duck was very tender and well prepared. The prata was also very tasty and crispy goes well with the curry sauce.
The beef steak was tasty and tender, loved the combination of sweet and savoury flavours.
The mango sticky rice was very spot on as well. The sticky rice was warm and nicely flavoured, went really well with the soft fresh mango and with the coconut milk.
Overall the experience was great and the service was also very friendly and kind. According to the waitress the place opened only 3 weeks ago. Well we will definitely recommend this place to our friends and co-workers. This is a great place to eat and to hang out at the downtown of San Francisco.
I was actually quite surprised at how good the curry and how really good the brown rice was. Brown rice in restaurants like this is a difficult standard to aspire to. The brown rice totally matched the seafood curry deliciously.
I eat brown rice cuz I like it and for health reasons but I don’t expect a restaurant seafood curry to be enhanced by it! They were beautifully married
I can’t describe the nuance of the green curry but was surprised at how it suggested so many unexpected flavors…after all this was not a five star restaurant. It was a delicious meal.
Then I followed it with mango and sticky rice. I adore mango and this mango and rise gave it credit. I don’t know how they make it but it is beyond my skills- I keep running it’s flavors throughout my head.
The restaurant is comfortable and despite the extra high ceilings and industrial looks it was amazingly not loud with amplified conversation such as some restaurants with that architectural ambiance manage, and I hate eating surrounded by amplified conversation from all across the room: another very pleasant plus
I’m not saying five star restaurant – I’m say good job well done with very kind staff
And very good food, judging by one dish
Then we had the Drunken Noodles and Thai Lychee Drink. Again amazing!
