We have tried all of the Featured sushi rolls and they are spot on delicious. The Tuna tower was my favorite and recommended by our server both times we went. The first time we sat at a table and the second we sat at the bar and both times we had great service.
They get busy, so if you can plan ahead and make reservations that would make your life easier. If you’re a “live on the edge of your seat” kinda person and just want to pop in, then plan to wait if you come before 7:30. We showed up at 5 the first time and was sat at a table in 10min and about 8pm the second time and waited about 35min then sat at the bar.
The staff is knowledgeable about the menu which is nice when you’re trying to understand the chef creations.
The Thai cuisine here is genuinely exceptional — fragrant herbs, bright citrus, and perfectly calibrated spice that feels both traditional and elevated. At the same time, the sushi program is equally impressive: ultra-fresh fish, clean knife work, and rolls that avoid gimmicks in favor of flavor and texture. It’s a dual-concept restaurant that actually executes both cuisines at a high level — which is uncommon.
The atmosphere matches the food: stylish yet relaxed, warm without being loud, and polished without pretense. Service is attentive and welcoming, and the overall experience feels far more “big-city dining destination” than suburban strip-center restaurant.
For Cary-area dining, Osha isn’t just good Thai or good sushi — it’s legitimately world-class food worth going out of your way for.
The lunch portion comes with a soup or salad and my fiancé usually gets the miso soup which I quite enjoy!
I get sushi most days, and I love their Aki and Doki rolls. I pair them with spicy mayo, ponzu, and eel sauce- the best combo! They also have Tamari, which is Gluten Free soy sauce! I also enjoy their Kazan roll when I am in the mood for something cooked. Or a California roll if I still want something cold. I have also tried their Yakisoba which is delicious!
Their Moo Ping is very tasty with a hint of sweetness and a vinegary Thai dipping sauce! The Mango Sticky Rice is absolutely delicious, served with coconut ice cream. I love the contrast of the cold, sweet ice cream, and the warm sticky rice with the slightly tart mango.
Their Thai tea is also divine!!! PLEASE get this, even if you don’t like tea- it’s like a creamy iced tea for those who haven’t tried it, and it is absolutely amazing. My fiancé always gets one with every order, and he doesn’t drink tea. I always steal a sip or two (as a hot tea lover).
Items we have not tried ourselves that I have heard are good are their teriyaki beef and the tempura.
Also, I have absolutely loved the Khao Soi from their sister company in Fuquay, Khao Sen and I would absolutely recommend that you try it at either location! It is a deliciously creamy, savory, slightly sweet, and spicy noodle soup dish with chicken.
Overall, we absolutely love Osha Thai and come here regularly for dates! We would absolutely recommend coming here!!
Fresh, incredibly flavorful food with generous portions.
Outstanding service with spot-on recommendations.
Beks and John L were super kind and attentive.
Hands down the best Thai restaurant in NC
