Food is decent and okay priced. We were in a back room and unfortunately it was a little colder outside this morning and there was Zero heat in the building and we had a group of about 16 and we were all freezing to death and it was pretty uncomfortable while we were eating. Service was okay not overly friendly but nothing particularly to complain about. For a restaurant it is pretty dirty. I used the restroom and none of the paper towel dispensers we’re working and the sink is all plugged up so when you wash your hands the sink fills up with water. The bathroom was dirty which for me tells me that that’s about how clean they probably keep the kitchen. It’s an okay place but they need to step up their game and clean up the place and make repairs.

OSG Cafe is family-friendly independent restaurant in the heart of East Mesa, featuring classic Midwestern American dishes.
OSG has daily specials including an all-day Sunday brunch buffet and Karaoke on Friday and Saturday evenings. Several of their sauces are house-made, including the hollaindaise sauce for eggs Benedict. Cheesecakes are also homemade by one of the owners.
I was able to sample a variety of their most popular items from appetizers, breakfast, lunch and dessert thanks to a tasting event hosted by #TasteofArizona
The fried dishes were crispy and not overly greasy. The fried zucchini was well-seasoned and not mushy, as so frequently happens. The hash browns were nice and crispy without being oily, with a good flavor and just enough salt.
Unfortunately, there were a few let-downs. The vegetables in the omelet and Philly Cheesesteak were undercooked, and the cheesesteak meat was a bit too thick. Although the hollaindaise was decent, the English muffin in the eggs Benedict was quite soggy.
Dessert was middle of the road. We sampled their rainbow cake, lemon meringue pie, and pumpkin cheesecake. The cheesecake is a dense, New York style and was quite creamy. The pumpkin wasn’t incredibly pronounced, but the flavor was good regardless. The lemon meringue pie was ok. The lemon curd base was tangy without being sticky and artificial. However, the topping was just whipped topping, not meringue. The rainbow cake was a bit dry about on par with a grocery store cake.
Prices are about average for this type of restaurant, averaging around $15 a plate. If you’re a fan of dishes like chicken fried steak, liver and onions, and cabbage rolls, then you will likely enjoy OSG Cafe.

OSG came in clutch again with a very tasty and reasonably priced breakfast!! Our service from Cory and Danielle was top notch!! We really appreciated their attentiveness. Made for an amazing East Valley morning! Still love the unique decor and ambience. Great for taking kids and family to.

Went in on a Friday night. Live music with fabulous food and an awesome server named Mitch. Definitely ask for Mitchs section when you go. You want be disappointed and will have a full stomach. Owner makes his own cheesecake and they are great as well.

Every Friday 4 of us come for the fried Cod. Sometimes us ladies change it up and have a pastrami burger. I’m always amazed at the plates that come out of the kitchen for other guest, they look so yummy.
The Cod is fried to perfection, not to much batter and alway HOT, the burger is amazing too. We’ve had the cabbage rolls, salad bar. They do serve beer and cocktails which is nice addition to a burger.
Check them out, great home cooked tasting food from the 60s-70s

This is a great place to dine in Mesa. I’ve always had great service. The food is fabulous. Their home fries are awesome.
Service is very prompt. Twice I’ve got my breakfast in less time than it takes to even place an order in some other locations.

Came here for a tasting event with Taste of Arizona and this place was awesome! I will be going back. Everything I had was good but my favorite was the burger. It was so good I forgot to get a picture of it. The people were very nice and friendly. It has a good atmosphere you can tell that the staff gets along.
