Very fine traditional Italian cuisine that’s fairly priced for the quality. Excellent service from Josh and overall very pleasant experience for non-local travelers. If I had to pick an element to criticize, it would only be the music played during dinner. Italian music, rat pack, or easy listening would have added apropos ambience to the wonderful food and service they provide. The meatball appetizer was amazing! Penne Vodka & Veal Marsala with Cappuccino very tasty! Thank you!!!

I absolutely love this place. Rudy is just a great chef. My chicken parm was perfection. Soooo delicious. I have had their short ribs special, which was awesome. I wish they put them on the regular menu because they were amazing. Service and food I can’t say enough about. Both are over the top.

My wife and I had a very rare free night this evening and wanted to go out to a restaurant that we’ve never been to before. We’ve done everything in Mahopac and Yorktown so we moved onto Somers.
My experience tonight, was overall from beginning to end, one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had!
We showed up a little early, but they sat us anyway, which was very nice of them. Waiter came up to us, introduced himself, took a drink order, Told us the specials dropped off some delicious bread and let us decide what we wanted.
We started with the most delicious, fresh and ice cold Mozzarella Caprese, The dish looked beautiful and even more delicious than I could imagine.
For our main course, my wife ordered the Zuppa di Pesce Fra Diavolo and I had the Vitello(Veal) Milanese that came with a side of roasted potatoes. We were so overwhelmed by how delicious our meals were, we stopped talking to each other, and just kept eating! I never saw my wife eat her entire meal before in my life and as far as my Veal, this is my go to dish everywhere I go, and I have to say, by far the best I’ve ever had! Cooked to perfection, generous portions, all the things you want in a fantastic dining experience! We finished the evening with a couple of desserts Also delicious. I have found my new place. We cannot wait to go back with our children and let them have their own experience at this top notch restaurant.

The first time I went was a weekend night and as you read up top, it was fabulous! I then decided to try it in the afternoon to see if all the working parts are still in motion.
My lunch experience was just as amazing as my dinner. Fausto, our waiter went way beyond to make sure that our experience was the best it could be. I had chicken Parm with vodka sauce, and my wife had the chicken dish with the salad on top. Both dishes were fabulous off the charts. This is my favorite new restaurant by far. I can’t wait to go back again. Great job guys!

Had a reservation for Mother’s Day was on speaker phone as wife called and I was next to her. Got there for reservation and they couldn’t find it. So instead of main room we were put on a table on the bar area. It was ok but shows that they messed up.
Service was ok and good was good. Kinda messed up that it happened and it was early in the afternoon and the main room was a quarter full.

Old School
This review is for a to go Chicken Parm dinner. The sauce was bland. Orangey in color. I understand not everyone likes a thick , red sauce with good flavor like I do. I was spoiled having the typical Italian Grandma whose sauce was excellent. The chicken parm was in between baked and fried. It had very little flavor. With the bland sauce it wasn’t very good. I will say at least they didn’t pound the cutlet ending with the paper thin chicken breast.
Overall very disappointed. The salad wasn’t very good and the bread/rolls were the same as everything else just average at best.
Also,The to go utensils, they gave me, we’re useless.

Sick of overpriced, tiny portioned subpar tasting food? We all are. Run, don’t walk – they are open 7 days for lunch and dinner. Appropriately priced, generous portions and absolutely delicious apps, entrees, desserts and cocktails. Service matches their quality of food. If you’re into live music – go Tuesday and Thursday nights.

To start, their home made bread rolls and a bottle of EVOO on the table is great. Got caught up in eating and conversation so totally forgot to take pics of our meals other than the pictured stuffed avocado with crab meat appetizer that I just added which was absolutely delicious. We had veal and chicken main courses which were equally just as delicious. Every main course comes with a salad and you get to choose potatoes, pasta or veggies as well. Hats off to the chef and staff for an awesome job. You’ll see for yourself.

Best Italian restaurant I’ve been to ever since moving from Yorktown. Oscars II will ALWAYS get my business. I love the atmosphere of the restaurant, makes you feel at home. The service is spot on from the moment you walk in, to the moment you leave. And now they sell this jarred home-made sauce from fresh tomatoes by (I think) Rudy’s, which is really good.
