Stopped by on our day in Jeff City for the state track meet. The breakfast was without a doubt a wonderful experience we ordered a few different options and definitely try the recommendations of the hospital the breakfast bowl bendy country fried steak and eggs. Everything was absolutely delicious and full of wonderful flavor. I myself ordered the Florentine omelette with sourdough bread one of the best omelets I’ve had in years fluffy thick full of fresh ingredients and delicious flavors. The coffee at Oscars was incredibly delicious. Everybody there was very happy and helpful in our drinks almost never went empty our waitress, faith, was just awesome and if you have a chance please ask for her as she is super attentive and great at her job.
Oscars is a definite gym near Jeff City and I definitely encourage you to check it out as soon as you can and make sure you get some of those biscuits and gravy without crispy bacon it is absolutely wonderful

Oscar’s is amazing. Great food, staff that are super friendly and attentive. Cannot recommend this place enough. I’ve been there several times for breakfast and lunch. Just a great Diner atmosphere. They do get busy during the times you would expect but they get people in and out quickly without feeling rushed. If you get the chance go. You won’t be sorry.

Everything was good until we got the carrot cake. I was so excited to get it since I had had it before and it was excellent. It was not, however, this time. The flavor was way different, not carrot like at all and the frosting was different-not the smooth, creamy frosting I had before. The rest of The food was good. Our server was excellent!

As ADORABLE as this place is, BEWARE. We ordered the Chicken Alfredo, Spaghetti and Meat Sauce, a Cheeseburger and Toasted raviolis.
The burger was pink in the center. I almost vomited after the third bite when I noticed it. The spaghetti was good, it wasn’t anything to write home about but edible. The Chicken Alfredo had to have been bad- whether it was old, or just left out too long I don’t know- but my partner and daughter shared it and they were in the bathroom after just a few bites. It really didn’t taste bad, it was pretty flavorless in fact- But Their stomachs were torn up for hours after eating it. We definitely won’t be back.

I’ve been coming to Oscar’s for years, and while I could go on and on about how much I love it, let me just say that after two deployments and 5 years out of state, the first place I wanted to visit when I got back home was Oscar’s Classic Diner. 10/10 for food, service, atmosphere and overall bang for your buck! The hospitalilty is simply unrivaled 🙂

We had drove down from N.E. Missouri to visit family & were told about Oscar’s. 5 of decided to go there for lunch. We were seated right away. After our order was taken & our food was brought out, our waitress came by numerous times to check on us. Had the fish & and fries, and it was absolutely delicious. All the food was fantastic. Highly recommend this place. You won’t be disappointed.

We celebrated our son’s graduation here! An unannounced, 16-person lunch party, and they were on it! Our server set us up and took care of everything! She was amazing! The food was delicious, and the portions were perfect! We had a wonderful experience and are sure to be back! It is truly a memorable classic!
