Oscar’s probably has some of the best traditional Arizona Mexican food in Flagstaff and has been a constant for so long on Milton at Riordan, it could possibly be classified as a landmark. Served on disposable ware or to go,, it’s not fancy, but the food is always prepared fresh and always served after management approval of the dish. Oscar’s has my vote for the best tamales and taquitos to be found in downtown Flagstaff.

Oscar’s has been one of our favorite places in town for ages. We placed a LARGE takeout order for our company holiday party (with several days heads up of course) and they graciously obliged. The owner went above and beyond for us, provided an excellent dinner for us and our staff, and even called afterward to make sure we were satisfied and to thank us for tipping. We are so very grateful to this establishment and hope to continue enjoying them for many years to come ❤️

Solid Mexican spot. I tend to go for the tacos and my friends got the daily combo special. I really love how they combine small tortillas to make their tacos. It’s perfect. They also know how to make a pretty good tamale.
And the staff are always delightful. This place needs more attention bc they deserve to thrive in Flagstaff.

Love Oscar’s! I was here visiting for the weekend & came across his spot. I had a hard time decided what I wanted but he did let me know about his lunch specials , I tried the 3 amigos lunch plate & that was literally the BEST MEXICAN FOOD I’ve had in a while , I Had To Buy 3 plates ! . We used to have a place in Phoenix called PANCHOS & His food brought me back to when I was younger eating there…. He was very welcoming and Informative. I loved the VIBES ! I WILL BE BACK SOON. THANK YOU for a Hearty Meal.

We got Taco Tuesday shredded Beef Taco plate & vegetarian burrito. We both really loved what we got. We spent $33 including drinks on both of us which I feel is great in this age of expensive food. Atmosphere is minimal but clean and the food is excellent. We would definitely come back if we lived here.

I have never been served such overcooked wrought iron chicken in my life.
I’ve never seen a burrito served luke warm.
Never seen cold cheese on the top of burrito, and it never melted because it was never hot.
Never been served a burrito that unrolled itself the first time I picked it up.
That chicken was entirely unfit for human consumption, ANY cook with decency would have trashed that pollo two days ago.
I used to come here all the time . . .

I’ve seen Tamales bigger than the cold steak burrito I bought. First time I’ve ever returned a meal but when I took the first and only bite, I tasted nothing but a cold pita and the little piece of meat. Too bad because I Really had a taste for a good burrito. What a shame, but hopefully after reading this they’ll increase the size for a $12.00 burrito. These prices are getting ridiculous!!!

I didn’t get any photos unfortunately, but I happened to stumble upon this place by accident. I absolutely loved this place and it’s by far one of the best Mexican food places I’ve ever been to!! I got the 2 taco (shredded beef/chicken) – rice/beans combo which came with chips and salsa. It had large portions and everything tastes super authentic and fresh. I look forward to coming in again!
