Both meals were seasoned perfectly. The side dishes were interesting & added nice variety. It would’ve been helpful to know exactly what each side dish was, & small bowls for soy sauce would’ve made the experience even better. Overall, the restaurant’s location, food, service, & atmosphere were all good!

Loved the place. The food was a cut above the rest. It was the most authentic and delicious Korean food ive ever tasted. The Kimchi and galbi is personally nostalgic, my Korean grandmother would make these dishes all the time and it tastes exactly like it. But I would say the service is a little icky. Id have to wait for someone to come out just to get a refill, silverware, to-go boxes. The food surprisingly didnt take a while despite being a table of 6. And the waitress was very kind, we had great small talk with her. To be honest, the place was quite a hole in the wall. It wasnt a great attention grabber, kind of worn down. What they lack in aesthetics they make up for great food. So overall it was decent, theres not many korean restaurants with authentic food like that.

As a Korean that grew up near a large K-Town, I am used to the abundance of restaurants offering flavorful Korean food and my standards are high. It has been relatively difficult to find decent Korean food in the Florida panhandle.
Osan is where I go to get my fix for Korean food. It’s not the best Korean that I’ve had, but still a solid Korean restaurant with good food. Probably one of the best, if not the best, in the area.
My non-Korean husband also enjoys the food here. I brought my Korean mother here and she also enjoyed the food at Osan’s.

Our typical orders: tuna tataki (yummmm!), chicken tangsuyuk (husband’s favorite), beef bulgogi (baby’s favorite), and I usually order something new every visit. The chachangmyun (black bean noodle) was good, soon tofu stew is okay, jjampong noodle was okay, rice cake soup was good.

My only qualm about this restaurant is the pricing; it’s quite expensive compared to the area I grew up in with a lively Korean community. It’s $17 for rice cake soup here; about $12-13 back home. Or the galbi (short ribs) are $32 here; back home would be around $25-28.

Would recommend Osan if you’re looking for traditional Korean food in the Destin/ FWB area.

Bulgogi was great! I had non-spicy and my boyfriend had a spicy bulgogi w/ California roll. Although there was only one server who was also managing the front the service was fast and good. Recommend this place for their authentic dishes!

This place seriously impressed me. From the moment I walked in, everything just felt right—the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and the staff made me feel like I’d been coming here for years. But the real star? The food.

Every dish I tried was packed with flavor and clearly made with care. You can tell the kitchen knows what they’re doing—it wasn’t just good, it was memorable. I found myself slowing down just to savor each bite, and by the end, I was already thinking about what I’d try next time.

All in all, 10/10 would absolutely come back. It’s rare to find a spot that gets everything so right. I’m already recommending it to friends.

Please don’t come solo. Come with friends for better atmosphere!

Simply one of the best Korean restaurants in the South. You won’t get any better food in the FWB/Destin than Osan’s. The staff was extremely friendly and made us feel very welcomed. The classic bulgogi dishes and stews are a must try; however, the best dish on their menu is the spicy squid and udon noodle dish (Ojinguh Bokkum). Osan’s is simply a must visit if you love Korean and Asian foods.

The food had a reasonably good flavor, but the serving size was alarmingly small compared to the price charged. We paid more than $70 for lunch, and after adding tips, our total bill was over $90 for three people.

Some of the friendliest service and awesome food. Their Jalapeno Tempura was amazing and the Korean food was spectacular. We had 4 kids (picky eaters) with us and everyone finished their plates. I highly recommend them, you will not be dissatisfied.

Overall space is okay, the waitress is friendly. The food was okay, I didn’t like the meat because it was a bit sweet for my taste. I like the kimchi part.

I previously reviewed this restaurant after eating their Bulgogi and finding it just a bit tough, but I am upgrading my rating because I returned tonight and had the best, most authentic Korean Sweet & Sour Pork I have ever tasted outside of Korea. The battered pork was crispy on the outside and deliciously tender on the inside. The sauce was exactly like they make it in Korea and the added vegetables were typical of the recipes you find throughout the different regions of Korea. They did add a few chunks of pineapple and a few thin slices of apple, which is not common in Korean Chinese restaurants, but it is something I always felt they should try the whole 29 years I was in Korea. Sure enough, I was right because their recipe is amazing! Osan Korean BBQ and Sushi at 402 Racetrack Rd is a great place to get a wonderful taste of Korea or you can enjoy your favorite “Japanese” Sushi roll. There are two dining areas in the front of the restaurant, one is fashioned to be a bit of a sports bar and has a couple of TV’s, and the other is strictly for cozy dinning. Both are decorated to give an Asian ambiance to your experience. There’s also a bar in the back of the restaurant with it’s own entrance. I previously went there for lunch and found they had a half dozen or so lunch box specials. At that time I had tried the Beef Bulgogi, which is Korean marinade of thinly sliced beef that is pan fried or grilled. It had a very nice flavor but it was a bit on the tough and chewy side vs being tender and moist. The meal was served in a Japanese style Bento Box, which is a tray with separated portions. The lunch special I had that day came with the entree plus three Korean Sides made of vegetables. In this case there was some Chinese Cabbage Kimchi, some Cucumber Kimchi, and some parboiled and seasoned mung bean sprouts. These were all very tasty, but not as spicy as you might find in Korea and previously the Chinese Cabbage Kimchi was not fermented as authentic Korean kimchi usually is, but tonight it was served just like it is in every home across Korea. Most Americans find the fermentation had to handle at first, but it is a taste that is acquired with time and after it is mastered, there is nothing so satisfying as that little bite back that you get from just the right amount of fermentation. That lunch box meal also had steamed “sticky” rice and two pieces of Yakimandu, which is a crispy fried stuffed dumpling, that is appealing to everyone on the planet – it seems nobody doesn’t like it. The price for the lunch special was $8.99, and I definitely came away full and satisfied. The Sweet & Sour Pork dinner for $13.99 was equally filling, had even more sides, and I was even offered refills on the sides just like in Korea. The friendly service, cozy asian-styled atmosphere, and the tasty cuisine are well worth the trip and neither the lunch special nor the dinner meal should put much of a dent in your pocket. I will be coming back here often!
