The Saving Grace on this whole dinner trip was the gentleman playing the guitar. He was wonderful. It was extremely cold in the restaurant, and the manager was the only one that could turn it down, and of course, he wasn’t there. To me and my sister, there was very little seasoning / taste in everything we ordered. I can roll a hand roll better than the one pictured. It seemed like everything we ordered had to have some kind of sauce with it for you to dip in, because there really was no taste to the food itself. Our waitress was non attentive. I had to get up 3 times and go find her to order another dish. Maybe the cook was having a bad night. Not sure I’d try this restaurant again. Especially when there is another Thai restaurant in town that is awesome.

Me and my husband were craving some good Asian food after going to the hot springs, and this place was absolutely fabulous! The gentleman bartender made us feel welcome as soon as we sat at the bar, had awesome recommendations and played silly cat videos on the TV (which we loved)! We got the pork tonkotsu and noodle dish, Coconut shrimp, and the rock and roll, which were all out of this world in flavor and presentation! The portion sizes for the pork tonkotsu and the rock and roll were also amazing for the price! Thank you very much for the wonderful service and food, we will be back hungry for more!!

Friendly staff, slightly too large selection that was not as sushi focussed as I expected. Still it was reasonably priced given the quality. We ordered their signature rolls and they were melt in your mouth tasty. I had the wonton soup. Wontons we’re delicious, but chunks of chicken were dried out breast meat given no love. Would loved to have had shhredded seasoned cooked thigh meat instead. Husband wanted to order a roll that we saw pics of online, but waiter couldn’t identify what it was. Nice decour and comfortable atmosphere. Major con was the poppy, auto tuned, Spotify playlist they had going. We were able to joke about it, but it would get seriously tired if they played that brain rot every time we visited. The soulless music is the reason I only gave 4 stars. Would have loved some quality jazz or funky folk music that would suit Salida’s clientele better. Worth trying for sure.

We had Christmas dinner here on our last night in Salida. It was amazing! We had:chow mein with chicken, shrimp and beef; a curry dish: sushi; sashimi; and the most beautiful spring rolls. The staff was lovely and very busy that night. The atmosphere is very cool. We were in the back dining room. It was beautifully decorated and comfortable. Very family friendly.

In town for our wedding anniversary, we decided to skip our go to spots and visit all new places and we had a hankering for sushi.
This place is amazing and located downtown Salida, Colorado.
it was actually bigger than it looks from the street. We were seated in a quiet corner in the back dining room.
I did the California roll, and a shrimp tempura roll – I forget the name and to write it down, but it was delicious! I also did an order of the egg sushi. They are my absolute favorite.
My husband did the Chicken Pad Thai then added spicy sauce so I can’t tell you what it was like but the way he devoured it tells me it was amazing too. The broth soup was so flavorful.
The wide selection on the menu was amazing. We will defiantly be back the next time we hop into town.

One of the best dining experiences of my entire life. Food was incredible. Waiter was delightful. Service was quick and totally satisfactory.
No exaggeration, its hard to imagine a more perfect dining experience. And the menu is fantastic too- no shortage of choices across many pages. You could eat here everday for months without eating the same thing twice. And i bet it would all be delicious, and served with exuberance and joy

Went here for my birthday and we really enjoyed the vibe, service and food. We had seaweed salads, Thai iced teas, and a few rolls. The special rolls are the way to go… we had the Jackson Brown and it was so delicious we had a second. My boyfriend had also ordered the Philadelphia roll and I thought it was just ok (I didn’t care to fill up on that after trying the Jackson Brown).

Food is Okay. Overpriced. I ordered simple Philadelphia roll. Rice was too hard and dry. Disappointed. No good for Philadelphia roll.
Tom Yum mostly was made from onions. It doesn’t taste good.
Not worth the price and we won’t be back.

If I’m going to spend the money eating out, I want to be wowed and knocked off my feet into a food coma . Very few places in Salida do that, and the ones that did are now closed; however, this is one of them. Came in for lunch and had sushi and Tom Yum Shrimp Soup, which was so flavorful and fresh you could actually taste the presence and intent in the cooking! I’ve also eaten at Sushi Thai, and they’re amazing as well, but I do think this place is better. Will definitely be coming back.
