Best food we have had since moving here. The atmosphere was calming, romantic, and welcoming. Service was fast and efficient, very organized. Our waitress, Amy, was friendly, energetic, engaged in conversation, TAUGHT US HOW TO USE CHOPSTICKS, and really gave us an awesome experience. The food was fresh, tasted amazing and it was so affordable. 10/10 would recommend, we will definitely be back!

After a horrible experience at Kobe’s in Kissimmee, FL (review available) we were still craving some REAL Japanese food and decided to stop here on our way home. IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!!! Though a little different from what we are used to, it was still amazing and close enough!!! They use garlic butter and seasoning which we’ve never had but everyone enjoyed it! The portions were great for the price and we left very full and happy! Staff were super friendly especially the chef(Chris I believe) and waitress! I forgot to take pics when the food was plated cause it looked so good we just started eating immediately but snapped a few along the way.

Really nice place in Gaffney, SC. Osaka is located in the old Olive Garden spot. Inside is very nicely decorated and very clean. Service was excellent. They weren’t very busy when we arrived and our server was on point. Introduced herself, asked for our drink and appetizer order, food came out pretty quick, drinks were refilled without asking, and everything was delicious. We started with the calamari appetizer. Wasn’t what I expected and was pleasantly surprised when I tried it. The sauce was subtle, yet delicious. Complimented the fried calamari beautifully. Even with the sauce, calamari was still a little crispy. I ordered the volcano roll. Very tasty. I forget which roll my friend ordered but it was delicious. We will be back to try more.

We went on a Monday afternoon for lunch, wasn’t too busy but the wait to be seated and for our waitress to show up took some time. The table was a little dirty and we asked for it to be wiped down. The food didn’t take too long to come out and it was your average hibachi type food. Although I must say the sushi presentation was pretty. I didn’t have the sushi but my brother said it was good. It was an okay visit.

I had the absolute best experience I’ve had at a restaurant in YEARS here. Robert was the best hibachi chef I’ve ever experienced. The conversations Robert, Amy our server, and my party had were just top tier, full of life and personality and so refreshing. Robert brought the ukulele to sing happy birthday to me, and ended up singing like 3 more songs with it. Amy joined in on singing, and so did we. I swear I haven’t had so much fun because of the staff at a restaurant since before COVID times and I walked away from this experience just absolutely elated. I’m so glad we chose this place to eat, and next time I’m in this area I’ll be making a point to come back. Food and ambience 10/10 but the experience we were given was unmatched and priceless. Thank you so much Amy and Robert. We appreciate y’all more than you know.

These places do not do themselves any favors by doing what they are doing. I had to ask for a server to come take our order after waiting 5 minutes at the table. The sushi and edamame is good so the poor rating is about the steak and lobster i ordered which was a huge disappointment. I know there are not too many choices in this area but dont get hibachi at the table here. I feels to me you get much better quality if they cook in front of you. The food had little to no taste and their Teriyaki sauce is hideous.

This is the second time I have received a DoorDash order form this place that they have messed up. At this point I feel like this was on purpose. Can they not read??? It says NO VEG | Double rice. I was EVEN CHARGED for the rice and received NO RICE. They clearly do not know how to read their own orders. I can forgive a mistake the first time, but twice? Get your crap together and learn how to read your orders. I’m very unsatisfied with this and if I get this again I will be quite upset.

I recently dined at this restaurant, and it was absolutely fantastic! The sushi was fresh, and packed with flavor! The kamikaze roll was a standout. The hibachi show was entertaining, and the chef’s skills were impressive while cooking up delicious, perfectly seasoned dishes. The service was attentive and friendly. Highly recommend, and I’ll definitely be back!
