We stopped by for lunch after a hike around MacDowell Creek Falls so came appropriately hungry for a good lunch. We ordered an individual meal for each of us plus a roll to share. The individual meals (like shrimp tempura) were good but not as great as the Shotgun roll. That roll really hit the spot. Main complaint with the meals was that they weren’t as spicy as indicated, and the tempura vegetables weren’t cooked uniformly.
Definitely will go back again. We need to support local restaurants, especially when they bring good food, service, and atmosphere to our area.

Osaka Sushi was a pleasant surprise! The food was wonderful! The restaurant has been updated inside and is very nice. Mostly I appreciated the staff. We had a larger party at our table and the wait staff was very attentive plus the manager checked on us several times. Definitely recommend!!

We decided to try Osaka Sushi in Sweet Home this afternoon and we were very happy we did. They opened up this past April 2023 but didn’t know about it until a friend told me! There is lots of parking and don’t let the outside fool you. The restaurant was nice and clean inside and the sushi was delicious. The waitress Summer was really nice and the price is the going rate for most good Japanese/sushi restaurants in the area. The quality of the food was really good. We will definitely be going back : )

Awesome remodel. The atmosphere was bright and nicely decorated. The staff was attentive and helpful, very prompt with food and drink refills. We all enjoyed the food we ordered. We’ll have to go back again to try more of the menu. So many choices!

This restaurant made my girlfriend wait 30 minutes AFTER it said her 2 sushi rolls would be ready. And then charged her almost $40. We won’t be returning. Also probably one of the worse customer service experiences.

Osaka has done a great job making a nice little sushi spot for Sweet Home. The restaurant is very clean and makes for a great sit down spot without being ostentatious.
When we went on Saturday night it was completely full, and they seemed a little understaffed for the rush. Being brand new, a lot of the wait staffed was slightly unsure of exactly what some of the dishes were on the -what I feel like- is a very extensive menu.
I’m personally not a sushi lover, but was able to find something that fit me, the katsu chicken, while the rest of my party enjoyed the sushi and gave it a 10/10. The katsu was flavorful, and the rice was exceptional.
One of our orders was significantly later getting to the table, and the rest of us had almost finished eating when it arrived. Upon getting the tab, that meal was not on the bill, so we chalked it up as a wash. I think it reflects more on them being so new, more than anything else, as the rest of our other food came quickly to our table.
Overall, it was a nice dining experience, and we will be back soon. Thank you for creating a pleasant alternative to the usual pizza and burgers of a smaller town!

I ordered general tsao chicken to go and was told it came with rice. I got some rice, yes, but not nearly enough for the 3 meals worth of chicken they gave me! Lol Any other time ive ate here, the portions were quite large and i had a snack or lunch the next day. I have been here a few times and the food has always been good and you get lots of it. For some reason, it seems different when ordering to go, you may want to get an extra side of rice! What they gave me is literally the size of a fork (part you eat off of) cubed.

I come for the beef yakisoba, chicken fried rice and sweet/ sour chicken. Its delicious and at a fair price. Can feed the whole fam for about 50$. Has a nice site down spot and you can order take out. Both end up being delicious!
