Never a good sign when you see a happy cat not in perpetual motion. The service was good even though communication was a little off especially in the drink department. I ordered unsweet tea and she handed me sweet. It’s super cool that they hand roll the sushi even though the dining area/sushi bar looks a little dingy and sticky. The bathrooms are TERRIBLE appearing clean but you can smell the feces from the pipes as soon as you cross the threshold. Loved the pricing and the Teriyaki Steak was delicious as well as the fried rice was expertly done.

Visiting here i have to say its a small town with slim picking. This place owes my wife and I nothing. Very chill spot, the staff is wonderful and even remember thier costumers lol.

Hibachi Chicken, Fried Mississippi ROLL were delish. Japanese Spring Rolls for appetizers were somewhat greasy, but good ingredients. Wait staff was adequate. We will be back.

Ashley was very attentive and friendly. I asked for a special request to put mango pieces in their combination fried rice and it came out yummy. The sushi was very flavorable. The Lobster Rangoon was so delicious. If you have not visited lately you should.

Walked in, and it smelled like heavy sewage, or spoiled food.
I my self couldn’t eat.
But food is good otherwise.

Their ac wasn’t on. It was at least 85 degrees in there. Our server was amazing. The food was awful. Although it was cooked on a hibachi it was not hibachi quality. The miso had weird white things in it and was cloudy. The rice had no seasoning. The vegetables were sweet. Their cooks should take a trip to Ashai and see how real hibachi is seasoned. If I could negative star the food I would. The servers were so nice!

Ordered via doordash, and it was not cheap. The fried items (nothing with fish) were awful – the frying oil must have been really old. Everything in my order has a gross fishy taste to it, and nothing ordered had shrimp or any swimmer. I tossed the $_0 meal. It was not edible. Oh – I got the filet and chicken hibachi and the meat (both) were undercooked.

A refreshing change for Savannah. It was on Saturday around 2 pm. Options for lunch specials runs until 3 pm and the bento boxes looked like a good option, but I went with the Olympic Roll and teriyaki steak skewers and spring rolls.
Olympic Roll was advertised to contain spicy snow crab, but what I saw was imitation krab, which I don’t mind, but it is a let down. Spring rolls are affordable at 2 for $2.79.
Teriyaki steak skewers also a good price, 2 for $5.99. Very tender and delicious.
Service was great. Food came out promptly even while it was quite busy.
Only negatives were no green onions in Miso soup and the table top was sticky.

Osaka is a welcome addition to Savannah and surrounding towns.
The restaurant is fully remodeled, clean and welcoming…cozy.
My unagi sushi was pretty good, my white tuna sushi, also decent. The shrimp shumai were spot on. My roll too was well built, flavorful, good textures….better than most sushi rolls you will encounter in a rural area. Osaka will be my local sushi fix for the foreseeable future.

We like the food but for the price it is expensive. Lunch portions are very skimpy. It is sad when you leave hungry.
