Amazing food and my new favorite place for Japanese. The gyoza dipping sauce was flavorful and obviously homemade as was the gyoza themselves. We both got tonkatsu ramen and the broth was flavorful but not too heavy like pork broth tends to be. The noddles are a little thinner than the typical ramen noodles but still very good and very generous portions with great toppings. Probably the most authentic tasting ramen place around. Definitely worth coming back for!

honestly never tried the place because cafe mochiko has my heart, but this spot is just as amazing. i would say they have better appetizers too. the gyoza was good and they give you a ton. the takoyaki and spring rolls were also great, but the chasu buns were AMAZING we had to get another order. the tan tan ramen was also delicious (but i will say not better than cafe mochiko) it had yummy broth and the perfect spice. can’t believe i never gave it a try until now, i went back two days in a row and definitely will be back soon! so happy i have another restaurant on beechmont (that’s not fast food) to add in the rotation!

Stopped in while visiting from out of town and had a really good experience. A local said that the seating was limited, but we must have came at a good time because we were able to quickly and comfortably seat four people no problem. The establishment was clean and even smelled nice…a pleasant change from restaurants that smell like old grease.
The menu is expansive with many options and sides to tailor the meal to your liking. And while we envision Ramen as the staple of college students and frugal the meals served here, while inexpensive, were well-prepared with quality ingredients and served properly and in a timely manner.

Nov 2: the host/cashier was nice BUT never came around asking if things are OK. I guess because I only ordered food and water, no coke products? The food is still good, Thank God!!
Oct 10: This time we went on Friday night. It was busy but the lady was very helpful, quick and good was always delish.

My friends and I were going to Jungle Jim’s and wanted to try some place new! The choices they made were perfect. From the darling decor to the concise menu to delicious Raman and Curry Rice with pork cutlet! Their curry brought back memories of my childhood in Japan. My friend loved her Raman and their green tea was perfect on a cold day.

Stopped for lunch. Everything was delicious! The food is consistently great. Had Takoyaki (which was almost molten hot!), Chicken Katsu Bowl and Tan Tan Ramen (best ramen in Cincinnati IMO). We always leave satisfied.
