I don’t typically take the time to leave a review when I go out to eat but this visit with my daughter at the Osaka on the west side of Evansville was deserving of a 5 star review. Febri the waiter, and the rest of the cooking staff did an amazing job. They even rigged up chopsticks with a rubber band so it was easier for my daughter to use. Plus the way the food was presented was fantastic. Delicious and done in a very reasonable time frame. Great atmosphere and an all around terrific experience with my daughter!!!!

Everything I had was cooked well and had very good flavor although I cannot speak to the sushi yet. The menu pricing was reasonable and the service was good, especially considering that they were about to close, and most restaurant service levels tend to fall off around then.

Went here for me and my lady’s 2nd year anniversary and they never disappoint us! Amazing sushi and hibachi meals. Absolutely love this place, definitely one of the best places to dine in town.

Stopped by for supper for the first time here and was warmly greeted by Gavin. I wasn’t sure what I wanted so he gave me time to look at the menu. I picked the Hibachi Shrimp with a hot green tea. The soup and salad were delicious and especially loved the mushroom soup. The shrimp and veggies were cooked perfectly. Everything was packaged with care and nothing spilled on the way home. I was offered some Halloween candy by Gavin and took a few pieces. I waited on a plush green settee underneath a pink flowered tree. The atmosphere was very fancy and I enjoyed my visit. Gavin made everything extra special. Thank you for a wonderful experience, I will definitely be back!

Ordered steak and shrimp with extra noodles no veggies. I got extra rice, veggies with no noodles. Almost the exact opposite of what I ordered. Obviously, don’t care about their customers. This isn’t the only time this has happened.

Food was cold. There was like 4 bites of salad. The soup was the only thing that tasted good. No sauce and I asked for extra. One peice of broccoli . The food really gas no but flavor.

Great place to get some sushi. The menu is extensive, the sushi and the spring rolls tasted fresh. Got take out and it was ready for pick up within 15 minutes. Price was reasonable and the staff were friendly.

Had the pleasure of trying out the brand new Osaka Japanese Restaurant on the west side tonight. Great experience!

With our crew of picky eaters, it was a gamble but this place was a home run! One kiddo chose the chicken nuggets and French fries and joyfully ate the entire plate. It was a large portion and definitely kid approved! If you have kiddos, you know not all nuggets make the cut. The other two, however, ventured out a bit and choose the chicken teriyaki hibachi meal. Our tiny reviewers say, “best rice ever!” Again, the meal was a hit and our plates were clean.

Started this review with the kids, because any parent knows pleasing the wild ones is always a feat….but let’s get to it! We started off our experience with a pleasant surprise from the gyoza, it was a different flavor than we have experienced from other Japanese restaurants in town and possibly a new top dumpling! They were lightly fried and served with a great sauce. We followed up with the lullaby sushi roll, a deep fried delicacy! Can’t wait to go back and try more variety! For our main entree, I ordered the steak hibachi with noodles and Richard enjoyed the chicken teriyaki and steak combo with rice. Both great, but we agree the noodles were the shining star! If you love lo mein…you must try them!

To end our night, we all shared the fried ice cream. Huge hit! Chocolate ice cream fried in a golden brown batter with whip cream and chocolate. We shared, but next time, I don’t think I’ll be so nice! It was delicious!

TLDR; great new restaurant…head on over and give them a try! Great variety, services, and prices.

The person at the door was rude. Told me to seat myself which is fine, but then didn’t communicate I was here to anyone. Food was not hot. Diet Pepsi was flat.

Food was okay. It’s bland. I had the lunch special. I would have liked more veggies.
