Continues to be some of the best handrolls we can find for the price. They stuff these ones and don’t cheat you on the amount of fish or the flavor. We have gone to more expensive places and they have been terrible. We have been to other places that exclude the veggies and put too much rice. Don’t bother with the other rolls because we have tried them and they are only okay. The handrolls will keep you coming back again and again.

2023: well priced sushi and beer is only $4.50! I would say the typical sushi rolls tasted good but not great. They all looked the same. There aren’t any “fancy” rolls here. It was an affordable night out which was nice for a change.

Going out for date night with the wife, decided on Chili’s. When we got there, we saw this place tucked away between the taco shop in that same mini mall. It had good vegetarian options for the wife, and I love sushi!!! Nice little spot, delicious rolls. Regular rolls were reasonably priced at about $6. The Eel Roll was fantastic. We got one specialty roll, the Spanish Roll. It was delicious as well. Great service, and fast!!!

Great sushi and food overall. We got a cucumber roll, salmon roll, teriyaki chicken bowl & yakisoba noodles. All reasonably priced. We sat at the bar and watch the employees make sushi.

Compared to other San Diego sushi restaurants (been to MANY), this was on the lower end. From the start, place felt a bit run down. Not the cleanest under tables and such. Very dimly lit. Got there an hour before closing, server seemed almost irritated to take our order. Ordered several rolls and nigiri. Roll I ordered fell apart the instant I picked it up off the plate. Cuts of fish were small. Daughter ordered tuna maki, they brought her a spicy tuna roll. Just wasn’t the best experience, maybe just an off night.

Tried this place for the first time. It us a very small, laid-back sushi place, which I really enjoyed. We only had to wait about 10 minutes for a table. They have a lot of booths, which is nice. There is a very small bar at the front with about 8 seats or so. They do not have a hostess, and you have to write your name and # in your party on a pad of paper. Our waitress seemed a little apathetic. She lost our food ticket (even after we received one of our appetizers (edemame) and one of the entrees) and came to ask what we ordered. She did say that the sushi rolls were being made, but she just lost the ticket. However, after I reminded her of what we ordered, she brought out my miso soup and then another order of edemame. I will say the food came out pretty quickly, even the sushi, and was delicious. The prices are really good too! I will definitely come back again and try some different menu items! Very worth a try!

It’s been quite a few times. Food is always amazing, but service doesn’t match it. We had a few good visits, but our last visit had some poor service. But there is great food and prices so we will be back!

Great food, amazing service. Food was fresh and quick. Got food about 10-15 minutes after ordering. Would definitely eat again!

My fav sushi place of all times!! The service was great. The food was delicious, I loved my miso soup and roll. My bf ordered a teriyaki bowl and he loved it as well. Definitely recommend 🙂
