We have been here several times and this place is awesome. It’s like Benihana but with cheaper prices and a bigger fire show. We usually get the groupon which makes it even more affordable. The staff is extremely friendly and it feels more a like a locally owned restaurant than a chain.

We keep coming back to this place. In the past, I’ve been critical of the atmosphere as they used to have christmas lights up all year long, and the place was dirty. However, they must have listened to the people. They have added a bar, the place is cleaned up, and it looks a lot nicer.
The chef was friendly and while I think they could use some more training for a more flashy display, the food was great and we enjoyed the show.

Even though there were just two of us, they treated us like royalty. I love going there all the time. Service is impeccable.

Fantastic food, no hard liquor license (yet). The sake good, though. They were very nice and accommodating with our arrival time. We went to the restaurant after my baby’s HS graduation and were unable to provide exact time. Yes: I will go back. Yes: I would recommend this restaurant to my friends.

Food is overpriced due to the experience/quality, not the quantity. Did the hibachi chicken and the new york steak during dinner. Steak was great, chicken was okay but the vegetables were the real star of the show. Reaaallly good veggies and amazing shrimp.
Was able to feed 2 people during dinner and a lunch to go the day after.
Service was okay, and they added up our bill incorrectly twice.

Wonderful restaurant. Loved the decorations and theme. Very entertaining to have what you ordered cooked right I’m front of you. There are quite a few items on the menu. You weren’t stuck with just a few choices. The man who cooked it was very kind and made it really fun to watch. Every station or tables around the hibachi seat eight, so it’s nice to bring a group.

The sushi was delicious and fresh. The restaurant was very clean. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. It was fun to watch the Japanese chef cook. Everything we ordered was yummy and fairly priced. I’d go back.

Absolutely love this place! The food is freaking amazing! The guy who cooks is so funny, friendly and talented. The prices are a little bit too high, but I still believed it deserved five stars. My son and I will continue to come back.

UPDATE: So a little while back they remodled and added a sushi bar. This is right next to my house and their isn’t a ton of sushi places near by, so even though I didn’t enjoy their other offerings I went back. Sushi was great! Big pieces and they have a good happy hour price. Definitely better then conveyor belt but a little more expensive. Normal restaurant: 2 stars, but the sushi and the service I get when I pick it up, 4 stars. Because of that and the fact I’ve been now several times just for the sushi, I changed overall rating to 4 stars. With that said I would still skip the grill portion. I have no intention of eating at that part of the restaurant again. Here is my original review from two years ago just focusing on grill:
This place is pretty terrible in comparison to similar hibachi restaurants. We won’t be back. We have gone three times and each time the portions got smaller and you got less things with the meal. This last time the meal just came with meat and veggies no noodles (instead just a heaping pile of bean sprouts) and the potions were tiny. I don’t mind small potions if the cost is lower or the quality is really high but neither was the case. I would recommend going to Fuji’s, it’s also in Vancouver and the prices are similar. The food we did get was decent just not worth the price…and I had a groupon.

Food was bland. Nice entertainment by the chef cooking in front of you. However, the food was just so so.
