Overall good/tasty food (only had the Chicken/Shrimp Hibachi entree). Cute/quaint atmosphere. They give TONS of food, which is nice for the price. Only complaint is the lady/server at counter is not friendly at all, stares as you oddly as others have noted. Possibly a language difference but she could be more friendly and welcoming to customers. Will return to try more yummy menu items.

This was our first time dining at Osaka in Thomasville. The food was freshly made and had excellent flavor. I enjoyed the yum yum sauce that came with my entrees as well. The sushi was great also. We got steak and chicken hibachi and a steak, shrimp and scallop hibachi. We will come back when we are in Thomasville. I never knew this place was there. Go check it out.

I normally don’t write negative reviews but today I went in ordered a Alaskan roll and a tuna roll. I ate my Alaskan roll which had salmon in it, I then ate my tuna roll which is only tuna. I got it close to my face and it smelled fishy like fishy fishy. I ended up eating one piece and walked and I whispered to the cashier this smells fishy bc they don’t wait on you. The sushi chef got load and started talking her native tongue and was like what sounded like anger. I was like look I’m just letting you know it smells maybe smell it? She and the cashier started talking again. Then she said no we cut it this AM. I said I understood but it was fishy. She picked her slab of tuna up and smell it close to her own face and tossed it back into the counter. Like gross, I meant for her to smell mine not the unserved suppose to be clean fish. Well they rolled their eyes. I tossed my roll. Mind you it wasn’t a expensive roll it was just the attitude after I was being super discrete and the lack of respect. It was just awful no stars would what I would rate this place.

Workers were friendly, but this is the worst quick service Japanese I’ve had in the area. Skip this and go to any of the ones in surrounding cities like Douglas, Valdosta or waycross. Beef and chicken were both super dry with not much flavor. They do have cool drinks that are worth a stop though.

Food was great, speed of service was great. Place looks a little run down inside. Will definitely eat here again regardless.

Well, it looks like decent fresh sushi… But who has ever heard of a sushi place who does not serve Japanese beer or saki! Yeah, maybe that’s why you don’t have a 4.2 rating on Google? Figure that out maybe you will grow this business.

I don’t see why the people of Thomasville, Georgia, like this place so much. The cut of stake and chicken are about the size of rice. Thus means that when they cook the steak and chicken, it is overcooked and dry. Service isn’t even with a smile. I know for me it is one and done.

Our favorite local sushi place. I’ve had a few subpar sides once in a blue moon, but most of the time the food is amazing. Sushi always delivers the deliciousness.

So we walk in, and no one greets us. Walk to the counter to find out if we order at the counter or table. She said at the counter. We ordered and went to sit down and noticed that the table was not clean. So we looked at a few tables and they were all dirty. I asked if someone could clean a table. After waiting seven minutes with no other customer to be help, a person came out to clean a table for us. Just the one table and none of the other table. We got our food, and we sat down to eat. We ordered shrimp fried rice and shrimp chow meim both meal was two out of ten I would never recommend this restaurants to anyone. I love Asian food, and this was one of the worst ones I have ever had.

Heads up – take out only! I was looking forward to sitting and eating but we were staying across the street so I didn’t mind takeout as much. The food was great. We ordered 5 or 6 of the sushi dishes and 3 different hibachi dishes. Spent about $100. All the food was great. Sauce and utensils were in the bag already. We went on a Wednesday and it was packed. Food took about 40 mins to cook. I was actually surprised by how busy it was in there for a Wednesday. The wait was worth it. I’d eat here again. I’d love to try the fried ice cream.
