The restaurant was clean and the staff was very friendly. The sushi rolls are huge and delicious. The miso soup is the absolute most flavorful miso soup I have ever had. And the fried Oreos were so so so good.

We’ve always have a good experience here & the restaurant is decorated beautiful! My only constructive criticism would be to have actual brewed tea (sweet) instead of coming out of a fountain. It’s not the same & this southern girl loves her sweet tea. 🙂

My favorite restaurant in Hartselle! Me and my boyfriend had dinner here last night and our waitress was AMAZING. Best service I’ve had in a long time. She was so professional and sweet and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was also great! The family that owns it is super cute and I wish them all the best. If you haven’t yet I would definitely recommend you give this place a try, you won’t regret it.

The very first time my wife and I went to Osaka it was a couple of weeks after it first opened and things did not go very well, but let me tell you we went back yesterday and it was an amazing experience! It was like two different restaurants. The staff was super friendly and attentive , the food was delicious and brought out not long after ordering and the prices are not bad at all! Osaka has definitely restored my faith in them and their restaurant and we will be coming back more often!
We ordered the miso soup and ginger salad which were very refreshing and we ordered the volcano roll the deep fried California roll and the snow mountain roll and mannnnn they were to die for! Delicious!
My wife is pregnant and ordered her a side of noodles and steak filet and they were delicious as well!

I’m a local who found the Osaka menu on Facebook after hearing it recently opened. We decided to try a to-go order for lunch and was pleased with the hibachi combinations. The restaurant seemed clean and the staff was friendly while I picked up the food. The online order flow was simple, but one concern here would be with the website as both my Safari and Facebook browsers suggested I not use the site due to being identified as a security risk. However, the order flow did not require my sharing of payment information and allowed me to pay at the time of pickup.

Extremely welcoming, friendly staff working in a beautiful and tidy restaurant area. The fish was so fresh and delicious! The presentation of the dishes were also very pretty and detailed. Honestly, this was the tastiest, freshest sushi I have ever had (I even used to live in California and this beat any sushi restaurant over there.) I tried the sashimi dinner plate with miso soup. My fiance had 2 special rolls, and we shared the takoyaki (also the best takoyaki I’ve ever had as well!!) We will be coming back when we want to have some delicious, refreshing sushi. Keep up the great work Osaka restaurant!

The owners (kevin and Joyce) are wonderful people and the food is the best you will taste in this county. Try the osaka roll with a side of eel sauce, its perfection. They also sell sake and beer and wine now. Great staff and excellent food that wont break the bank
