I ordered Hibachi Steak Yaki Soba (which has noodles) from Osaka Express and was extremely disappointed. When I got my order, it was just steak, broccoli, and onions, no noodles at all. I had already left by the time I noticed, so I called the restaurant to let them know about the mess up. Instead of being helpful or apologetic, the person on the phone had an attitude and told me there was nothing they could do about it. Mistakes happen, but poor customer service on top of it makes it worse. Safe to say I won’t be ordering from here again and I definitely wouldn’t recommend anyone else coming here as well. Unbelievable!

First time here . My guy and I had no idea what to get . We got steak and scallops hibachi. Everything from the plain Jane salad to the sweet tea was amazing! Prices are decent all ! Place is Clean ! Thank you !

Update: Front door has been changed to a bell. Much better. Have now had their wonderful Coconut Shrimp. I would highly recommend. I also requested a change to a sushi and they were happy to make the change of an ingredient.
Absolutely the best Japanese food I have ever had. I have had Dancing Eel Roll, Chicken hibachi, and Crab Rangoon. I will be eating here again and again. The only reason I did not give the atmosphere 5 stars is because their door chime is annoying. Each time a customer comes in it says, “Front Door Open”. So if you want the best Japanese food in the area eat here.

I visited this spot since I know they are relatively new. The only downside is the placement of the wall as soon as you enter, not much they can do about it. I ordered and had my appetizer and soup in less than 5 minutes. Three minutes later, my meal was ready. Staff were very friendly and accommodating! Food was tasty and well seasoned. The amount of veggies in the dinner is massive! Overall, a good experience, and I’ll definitely return.

This place was truly a god send for me! I’ve been dying for good sushi, fried rice, and egg rolls. This is a hole in the wall, nothing fancy but the service was phenomenal and super friendly. The food was so fresh and that crunch on the volcano roll was perfection. I don’t know why others complained about service and paper plates. It’s a small business and you can tell they really care about the food and for the price go try it! I can’t wait to go back and try the noodles

Not overwhelmingly special, but wasn’t a bad spot to eat. Fried rice wasn’t great but the hibachi and crab Rangoon were delicious. The price also wasn’t bad.

To the team at Osaka Express, I offer my heartfelt thanks for an evening filled with laughter, love, and delicious food. We stopped at Osaka for a break on our road trip. From the moment my family walked in the door, we were welcomed by the friendly staffs. Although the wall was a little odd, it didn’t take away from the great experience since the counter was just around the corner. We ordered from their new speciality menu and we LOVED it! The Crispy Crab Roll was so crispy and delicious and the Coconut Shrimp was creamy and flavorful! The hibachi was great paired with the sauce on the front counter and the edamame was heavenly. We cannot wait to explore other menu items when we pass by Ruston again!

food was mid Not bad but not spectacular, and everything came in a to-go container or on a paper plate. And they don’t have free water.
Service was horrible. We didn’t get our meal till 50mins after ordering. Only two other couples where there. We had to go to the front and remind them they we still need part of our order.
Atmosphere was unwelcoming. No one welcome us in and honestly we were confused when we walked in because the place to order food was in the back.
They are still very new, I really hope they improved.
