If I could give them more than 5 stars, I would. This place is actually phenomenal. They are highly dedicated to customer satisfaction. Stunned by the welcoming service to exquisite special rolls that they present on little wooden bridges with dry ice fog. Highly recommend getting the free hot tea that comes with meals because of the presentation. I won’t go into details about it, because I don’t want to ruin the surprise 🙂 My partner and I have been coming weekly due to how well we get treated and how tasty the food is. They even have been giving us free samples to try every now and then. Today was miso soup and it was delicious. If you are looking for somewhere to treat yourself or get surprised, this is the place. Lunch special is only $14 for 3 types of 6-8 piece rolls, which is totally a steal.

Dine in and First time here. I love it!!! I’m new to sushi and I’m learning alot. I’m actually wanting to switch my entire pallet to sushi however for the time being this was excellent. Staff friendly, family oriented, kind and always checked in on me. I also had Jasmine Tea. Still lots to discover some not all lol. Oh and I ordered more to go. I’m full and happy, and don’t fill heavy like I would from fast food. Thank you Osaka.

Food: Husband and I ordered 8 sushi rolls, 4 onigiri rolls, and 2 boba drinks.
All the sushi rolls we had were delicious! Everything was so fresh. I recommend the Black Widow Roll if you love eel. If you like raw tuna and salmon, get the Tuna Special Roll and the Osaka Roll. I love the variety of rolls that they have because I like raw fish but my husband does not so they have options for both of us. We both loved the sushi rolls that we ordered!
Japanese onigiri – I think this place is the only place in Minnesota that offers these and I’m so glad I found out about it! I got the spicy tuna, spicy salmon, and 2 shrimp tempura. I love that they make it fresh to order! They were nice and warm and super delicious! Love all 3 flavors that I got and the packaging is super cute!!! Check out photos to see how cute they are.
Milk tea & brown sugar boba drinks – loved the drinks! So flavorful and I can actually taste the tea in the milk tea. Not too overly sweet. I think they can improve on the boba pearls. The pearls were a little mushy & sticky for me, but not too bad.
Price: Very affordable quality sushi! Everything came to a total of $141.
Takeout experience – so easy to order online and food was ready in 30 minutes. Since I did a big order and I live kind of far from the place, I thought I would give them time to do the order, but they finished my order within the 30 minutes that they told me online. They even gave me a call when my order was completed and I was still driving there.
Service – didn’t get to experience dine-in service but the takeout service was great! Friendly staffs and food was well package. They gave us ginger and wasabi for each sushi roll and gave us so much soy sauce. Definitely my new favorite sushi place!!!!

I had the chicken Habachi Entree, and it was good. It came with Miso soup and a plain lettuce salad, which were ok. I had a Brown Sugar Boba Tea at a 25% sweetness level which was perfect, since I don’t like super sweet things. I also ordered potstickers which were nummy. I would return for another meal, probably some sort of Sushi Roll and an Edamame appetizer.

Finally trying out Osaka in Hastings. I got the lunch special which was $15.00 after tax. Three rolls: spicy tuna, tuna avocado, and another fish and avocado. I had hot tea with my meal. It was definitely worth my time and the price. I would order something other than the spicy tuna, it wasn’t bad at all, just wasn’t what I wanted today. Quick service, I ordered in person and received my tea immediately with a bowl of soup. My sushi came quickly after. They do offer online ordering and a kiosk in the restaurant. I will be returning and telling my friends.
