I LOVE Osaka’s!! I go there a bit too much, the family is so sweet and the staff is amazing. They care a lot about their customers and always make sure everything is taken cared of. The place is clean and the kitchen and sushi area is open so you can see them make your food and it’s really cool to watch. The best in my opinion is their sushi. It’s a great place for sushi and their Lunch special is such an amazing deal! Their prices are great too and it’s perfect for a small place like Lucedale to get good Asian food! The atmosphere is great and they always have an upbeat and positive vibe in the restaurant! Definitely recommend Osaka’s!!! ❤️

Andrew took my order. Andrew gave amazing service. Also, when Ashton was clearing tables. She went out of her way to ask if everything was OK. Thanks for the great service.
I gave the food 5 stars because it’s not the best I’ve had in my life. Only because of the large cities I’ve been to. For Lucedale, it’s better than anything in town.

After years of eating here and enjoying it, today’s visit left a lot to be desired. Ordered two rolls, Philly and spicy tuna, and they were tiny. Approximately the same diameter as a nickel. I hate I didn’t get a picture of them. The waitress was amazingly sweet, informed me they have a new person on sushi and had them remade. The remake wasn’t much better. Still smaller than a quarter in diameter and no fish to be found in some of the pieces. I felt like this was a complete waste of my $40 for 2 people to eat lunch. In the attached photo, you can see the avocado and if you look really hard, you may find the fish.

I’ve had Chinese buffet that tasted better. Soba noodles were soggy and broken bits and peices. Small portions for the price. Sesame balls felt like they were very old. Sushi….. the worst I’ve ever had. Seriously, the only restraunts worth anything in town is the Chinese Best Wok down the street and the Mexican place off the 63 hwy exit on Hwy 26.

Worse Japanese food I’ve ever had. The shrimp in the tempura was not tempura battered but pre-breaded panko and the onions appeared to be just like the frozen battered you get in a grocery store. They didn’t even have tempura dipping sauce. Also, I bought 3 sushi rolls only to get home and realize there was no ginger or wasabi. On top of that, the rice was dry and the shrimp was chewy. This is my second time being disappointed there. There will not be a 3rd chance.

First time I ate here since the new owners and the new name has occurred. I really enjoyed the sushi and the service it was for my birthday “ even if it was a couple days after” and the staff was amazing even if my order was take out, they treated me as if I was sitting down.

To start we had crab ragoon it was good hot and tasty. The food was a different story my daughter steak was tough and the vegetables was soggy and the fried rice was plain and tasteless. $18.99 for the dinner. The soup was no good at all, all though I did have the extra crunchy tempora it was ok while it was hot. The staff was running around in tshirts ball caps and jeans. Not a classy place for the prices we paid. Our waitress was polite.
