I ordered Chicken Tempura with a side of vegetables and an Avocado Roll, while my friend got Sushi and Crab Rangoon. The sushi and Crab Rangoon were both great, but unfortunately, the Chicken Tempura was a letdown. The chicken was bland and had to chew, and the vegetables (which were fried, not what I expected for a “healthy” side) were also flavorless. Despite the letdown with the tempura, some of the food was good, so I’m willing to give this place another try.
For the cost, I don’t think it is worth it.

They have a both hibachi table with chef and sit down.
We got two drinks $9 each( mai Tai & osaka spl drink). Presentation was just sober, Quality and taste was not all that great. I don’t recommend the house drinks at all.

We had a deluxe sushi platter. ($59) It was a good presentation and the fish . The platter comes with the miso soup and a salad. Both were just decent.
Service was great, everyone was so friendly. Ambience was ok. They had chefs cooking for the guests in front of their table itself instead of kitchen.
Last night, I took my best friend to dinner here. We don’t get to see each other very often.
Everything was fine until the chef asked us the temperature of the meat we wanted. Me and my partner wanted, medium, and she wanted medium rare because she does not like it at all if it’s cooked too much. Most of the table did medium, except for one man who did medium rare.
When the chef repeated back the temperatures, he said, “all medium except one” My best friend then spoke up and said “no I like mine medium rare please.”
The chef then said “ it’s too late for you to change, it’s not about what you like ” thinking he was joking around she then responded. “No, you’re gonna make me cry.” They shared a laugh and I thought everything was good.
Until it was time to cook the meat. He separated, the medium rare and served it to the man. noticing he wasn’t cutting up another one I spoke up saying hey “excuse me, she wanted hers medium rare,” thinking he didn’t hear us. We spoke up again this time both my partner and I. He still didn’t acknowledge us at this point the entire table could hear us and was looking at us. My best friend didn’t want me to make a scene or embarrass her so she tapped me and says it’s fine. “He’s just ignoring us.” He then placed an overcooked steak on her plate. She barely touched her food at this point I should’ve got the manager or the server, but it was too late.
I tried to come up with excuses for the chef. Maybe he just didn’t hear us But he had acknowledged my friend the first time and when i spoke the entire table looked up. So it is very unlikely that this was the situation maybe it was a language barrier, but even that wouldn’t make sense because he spoke English just fine taking the orders.
Very disappointed on how this took place and won’t be returning and I am going to continue to advise others to go to Kyoto instead.
