Had steak and shrimp combo fajitas (they came out sizzling!) and a Margarita. Husband had Seafood enchiladas and a Pacifico. Chips and salsa brought to the table with our menus. Everything was excellent! The waitress was a doll, the place is nicely decorated and clean. I highly recommend Ortegas.

If you’re looking for great food and a great atmosphere, this is your place!!!! Amazing!!! Earl is super nice and welcoming! They have the best green chili in Fremont county! We have tried almost everything on the menu and have never been disappointed! Taco Tuesday is a great deal too!!!

Cannot say enough good things about Ortega’s! We chose it because of the excellent reviews and were not disappointed. It’s easy to find but feels a little off the beaten path. The restaurant is beautiful, clean, freshly painted and brightly decorated. The food is wonderful, clearly homemade, delicious, and the chile is HOT! To say the patio is dog friendly is an understatement — these people LOVE dogs! They were so kind to our nervous dog and brought her a bowl of water and a special treat. We will definitely be eating at Ortega’s whenever we are in town.

The sign on the door said they were short-staffed and asked for patience with the service, but we found the service to be exceptional and prompt. They came to refill my husband’s coffee at least 5 times. Both the man and woman who were working when we were there were exceedingly friendly. Food (breakfast) was good.

First time there. Food was good, service was terrible. Took our order, never received complementary chips and salsa. Brought out our food, had to ask for salsa for the tacos, then they brought the chips and salsa. Never checked in with us to see how the food was. Drinks were empty. We were ready to pay our bill when the owner??? came to give us a refill. Won’t be going back.

Was perfectly nice when walked in. Dog friendly. They brought water and chips and salsa. Water for the dog. We sat patiently waiting for them to take our drink order. Next thing you know, a place is being set for 2 next to us with water and chips and salsa. Customers come in with a growling, aggressive dog. Waitress comes right out to take their drink order right away. Blows right by us. We had been waiting more than 10 minutes. Ate all the measly chips and salsa, drank the water and left. Don’t go there. Salsa water and chips made us ill.
