Overall, I really enjoyed dining at Orsetta. The food was very good and beautifully presented. The only misses were the beet salad, which lacked a dressing and tasted overly pickled, and the cheesecake which was crumbly, and texturally unpleasant. Aside from that, the food was very good.
I ordered the chicken Parmesan with a side of pasta, and it is certainly one of the best chicken Parmesan dishes I’ve had. I also tried the pan-crusted pizza, which was good and akin to Detroit-style pizza. The basil lemon spritz is also highly recommended.
The atmosphere was intimate and truly delivered a relaxing dining experience. Overall, I would definitely recommend giving Orsetta a try.

Orsetta has been on my list for a long time after being hyped up on social media. It has a cozy atmosphere. We were seated next to the kitchen, and it was a bit more closed off from the rest of the dining area.
I was hoping to find a seasonal sangria on the drink menu, but I went for a couple of bourbon drinks. Strong, good, and what I expected.
The beet salad was lacking for me. The beets had a strong pickled flavor as opposed to the typical roasted/cooked flavor you’d expect in a beet salad. There was not enough dressing. The goat cheese was clumpy instead of the creamy satisfying schmear that you want to develop when tossing a beet salad.
The chicken parmesan was some of the best I’ve had! The crisp batter was fantastic. The pasta addition was the right move.
The pizza was fairly average. Nothing too special, and I’d probably stick to pasta and entrees for dinner moving forward.
I also had higher hopes for the basque cheesecake. It was dry and crumbly in the center. The strawberry topping didn’t seem fresh. Perhaps frozen strawberries?
With much of the meal being average to good, I would return for a drink and appetizers or sharing an entree at the bar. The wow and impressive factors I was hoping to discover weren’t quite there (yet). Nonetheless, a nice elevated addition to downtown De Pere.

Super cute dining spaces with a casual and hip vibe. Food was phenomenal. The lemon meringue pie drink, not too sweet, smooth and simply delicious….I could drink many of those! The Caesar salad was fresh and unique, perfect flavors with balance…. the croutons, sublime! The pasta, the pasta, the pasta…. wow, the pasta. Indulged with the bolonegese and it was worth every single bite, heavenly texture, flavors… with each component marrying in harmony. Hands down best pasta since visiting Italy. Many stars on that dish, many! The pizza was good, fresh, thin, crispy with good seasonings and herbs. Service was outstanding. Friendly, helpful, attentive and so nice. Def a great restaurant for any dinner, special occasion, girls night out, or a just ‘I don’t want to cook and need some flavors’ kinda night. Go, you won’t be disappointed!

Orsetta didn’t disappoint. The sourdough pizza was excellent (pizza snob here). My wife loved the ribeye. Our server was excellent. The ambience was cozy and pretty. Highly recommend.

Every meal here has been outstanding in taste & service. This time we had Maddie as our waitress and she was phenomenal. She was very funny and accommodating, came to the table just enough, and made perfect recommendations for us. Would hope to have her next time. I always suggest a reservation if you don’t want to squeeze in at the bar.

We’re really enjoying our time at Orsetta! It’s a bit of a drive for us, so we’ve only been there a few times, but we’re excited to make it back. The staff is amazing, and Chef Kelly’s kitchen makes some incredible dishes. The menu is diverse and well-crafted, offering something for everyone without overwhelming you with too many choices. The beer selection is perfect, and the bar staff is ready to whip up some well-made cocktails. Thanks to the whole team for making our night so special, we can’t wait to come back!

I thought the first time at Orsetta was certainly worth making plans to revisit. We were seated in between the main front and back areas, which didn’t create a great dining environment. However, I do understand that every seat is a potential paying customer.
The service was great but seemingly understaffed. Our waiter was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and pairing, just spread too thin across too many tables.
We tried the Diver Scallops, Giardiniera Meatballs, and Truffle Mushroom Pasta. The pairing of sweet with the scallops seemed out of place. The meatballs were AMAZING (and paired nicely with the mushroom pasta). The pasta had great flavor but could have used a little more sauce and/or pasta water to deliver the perfect consistency.
All in all, Orsetta is worth checking out.

Summer
Orsetta Craft Kitchen & Bar is such a great spot for amazing food and drinks. Besides the loud and echo noise – the atmosphere is stylish yet comfortable, perfect for a date night or dinner with friends. Every dish was flavorful and beautifully presented, and the craft cocktails were just as impressive. The staff was welcoming and attentive, making the whole experience even better. Definitely a place worth visiting again!

We made reservations two days in advance and were looking forward to our evening. When we arrived, we were seated promptly and given water — and then completely forgotten.
We were never approached by a waiter or waitress. No one came to take a drink order, explain the menu, or even acknowledge us beyond the initial seating. After waiting 25 minutes without any service or communication, we decided to leave.
It was extremely disappointing, especially considering we had a reservation. We understand restaurants get busy, but a simple acknowledgment or update would have gone a long way. Unfortunately, the lack of service made it impossible to stay and enjoy our night.
I hope this was just an off night, but based on this experience, we won’t be returning.
