A solid neighborhood spot with a classic Irish pub feel and a great location, especially when the patio is open. The atmosphere is lively and welcoming, making it a nice place to meet friends for drinks or a casual meal.
The food is good overall, with some pub favorites really hitting the mark. That said, the prime rib was overdone, which was a bit disappointing and took away from the meal. Drinks are reasonably priced and well made, which definitely adds to the experience.
Service is generally great and friendly staff. Every Friday and Saturday they have live music. We went specifically for Frankie Lee Restrospect (Frank & Armand), for a truly amazing eclectic evening full of of tunes from the 60s, 70s and then some.
Overall, O’Rourke’s is a dependable local pub with charm, good drinks, and a great vibe.

We had a group of 10 siblings and spouses celebrating our brothers 70th birthday. Amy was on top of making sure we were all seated together, made perfect recommendations for food. We especially liked the Irish nachos, corned beef reuben and fish and chips. The apple pie a la mode, big enough for our group to share was SO good. Thank you Amy for serving up great food, drink and laughs. This is a very cozy spot for young families too!

The $18 steak sandwich on a hotdog bun, been coming here for years and since new owners lots of corners being cut. There are a few great bartenders and servers here since the beginning of this place but new owners are cheap and dragging the food quality and value down big time.

Thank you to John, his management team, bartenders, and servers for helping to coordinate a fantastic wedding after-party. My wife and I celebrated our wedding at Rhode on the Pawtuxet, and afterwards invited our friends and family to O’Rourkes/Breffny’s for drinks and apps. The food, drinks, and service were all fantastic. It made for a great ending to a great night. Thank you to the entire staff for making it such a fun time! We love O’Rourkes!

My first time there
I went because Paul Petit was singing. What a great place. Not only was the entertainment amazing, the patio was relaxing and patrons were very friendly. The food was delicious. I had the fish tacos with the house made chips. My friend had the chowder and stuffie and she said both were very good. Would definitely return and I highly recommend it.

I have eaten at O’Rourke’s many times. Since the new ownership it has gone downhill. The food is very expensive and the portions are small. This is the tip of the ice berg. We placed a take out order steak sandwich, when we arrived home the sandwich was on a hot dog roll. We called and asked why we paid $17 for steak on a hotdog roll instead of a Torpedo roll. We received a sorry. Really!!! Shame on the owners for letting this happen, with food being so expensive you deserve a decent meal. We also had like a fistful of fries. Save your money go someplace else.

O’Rourke’s hosted a reception for us and did a fantastic job. Its upstairs space is fantastic. We held our event at 11 and we were unsure how the breakfast food would be since they don’t regularly serve breakfast but it was great.
The food, drink, and staff were group. The upstairs space holds about 50-something people but I would guess 40 or so is probably ideal for the space? Our group was about 40 total and it was perfectly sized and appointed.

Had a great lunch here with my friend while I was in town. Great views of the harbor and a very cozy nautical overall theme overall inside. The staff was very friendly and attentive and the food was great, with good portions and flavors. Overall a very fun spot and one I recommend!

The lobster roll was divine, featuring a buttery, perfectly toasted roll generously stuffed with tender, succulent lobster meat. The flavors were exquisitely balanced, with just the right amount of seasoning to enhance the natural sweetness of the lobster. Each bite was a luxurious treat, making it an unforgettable culinary experience. Highly recommended!
