I got a marshmallow matcha lattee with homemade pistachio milk and delicious gluten free cookies. The barista was very kind and allowed us to sample some of their milks. I appreciated the large selection of gluten free options and their gluten food options look tasty too. The atmosphere was cozy and they played good music.

Unique pastry offerings along side hard to find Turkish coffee.
Interior is small but cozy and reasonably quiet. Drip coffee was solid and the food offerings have items you won’t find elsewhere.
Very worth your time to drop in and stay a while.

Amazing atmosphere, delicious food, great service. We’re visiting Chicago for the week and actually want to come here tomorrow morning because we loved it so much!! With all the wonderful options available in Chicago, that’s saying a lot.

The food here is delicious, uncommon, and vegetarian. Today, I had a pumpkin teff cookie, a spicy potato pogacha (don’t worry—not spicy), and a tomato basil soup, all quite tasty. Plus, they have authentic Turkish coffee, with or without various spices, and Yemeni and American coffee, with at least 6 choices of non-dairy milk (pecan, toasted hazelnut, etc). Love this place.

Just come here, that’s all I can say. Everything here is amazing. A few things I would recommend is there oatmeal cranberry cookie or almond butter cookie. Hot or iced capuchino with their homemade hazelnut milk. Everyone here is so wonderful, and nice it makes the experience even better

In the heart of Lincoln Square – I specifically go out of my way to stop here for the Teff & Almond Butter Cookies. Melt in your mouth deliciousness. I love that they have SEVERAL house-made nut milks & use maple syrup as a sweetener for most treats/drinks. Nice atmosphere & chill coffeehouse music. They have a variety of canned sparkling waters & various teas & bags of coffee too.
Overall a solid coffee shop that I return to frequently. It isn’t super inexpensive but it’s worth it for the quality!

Oromo Cafe is a cute coffee shop on a bustling street. Many people come by for a coffee to go while others spend a bit of time here working on their computers or chatting with friends. Some days it’s more busy than others, so seating is sometimes limited.
On our most recent visit, we waited at the register for a while before someone came by to take the order. It wasn’t very busy inside so I’m not sure why there was a bit of a hold up.
The vanilla latte with oat milk was delicious. The hazelnut horchata latte had great reviews from others, but the flavors and the number of milks in it seemed a bit conflicting. I would not recommend this drink.
The prices seem typical for a city coffee shop, but ended up being pretty high after the milk swaps and flavor add ins. More of a treat place rather than a regular spot for me.
Overall, it’s a decent spot, so check it out if you have the chance!

That was the best Matcha Latte I’ve ever had. It punches you in the face in a good way. It looked like something some ancient herbal medicine healer would brew up for you. I didn’t even know you could do that with matcha. That was a real drink. Finally, someone gets it.

Excellent coffee + bites! I’ve had both their soup and paninis and they were delicious. Their Turkish coffee is great too, they used to serve their for-here drinks in ceramic cups but on the weekend looks like they just do paper
