What I really loved was the fact that I was offered four different steak knives to choose from, it’s the first time I’ve ever seen that but such a nice touch.
The service was excellent. Marco seemed like the perfect combination of taking great care of the guests while also giving them the privacy they need.
For me, without any doubt, this is the best restaurant in Rome considering the food, the atmosphere, and the service.
Not only the quality of their steaks were exceptional, but the starters, side dishes, desert, staff were everything 10/10!
Special thanks to our waiter Domenico that was very helpful with everything!
This is a restaurant you have to visit without hesitation!
The staff provided excellent service, notably addressing my worry about the large portions by presenting a Rib Eye Gold Plus (USA) steak already cut for a single serving. I requested a medium cook, which was executed perfectly.
The meal was thoughtfully presented, allowing me to choose my knife, and included a cold cube of butter to melt over the top, along with tartar sauce.
My side of Ornelli potato salad was also delicious. While the steak was quite expensive at €90, the large portion justified the cost, and I enjoyed every bite.
Complimentary raspberry chocolates concluded the meal. This steak now holds a spot in my top five meals, comparable to Don Julio Buenos Aires that I visited in Feb 2023. I highly recommend it and look forward to visiting again when I am next in Rome.
We had some tartar ,onion rings and mushrooms for starters . We really loved it . Some of the best tartar we ever had .
For main course we ordered wagyu beef that’s was good and Uruguay beef that was average or below average .since Uruguays plate was my main course I was disappointed from the result . Hard on the surface and without any taste . I will visit again in the future for another try . I believe it was just a one time mistake .
The staff was super professional and really helpful.Thank you
Also tried crispy tacos-supeeer! The combination of meat with that fried corn tortilla was like a perfectly tuned duet.
For dessert we had the caramel brownie- total bomb. I’d swap the whipped cream for a scoop of ice cream. With that, it would honestly feel like stepping straight into heaven.
The service was on top, Carmine was very attentive and made our dining experience 10 out 10!!
The room carried a softness that surprised me for a steakhouse. Dark wood, low lights, and a gentle hum of conversation that never tried to steal the moment. It was intimate without being heavy. Confident without needing to show off. You could sit there and let time stretch a little. And in a city like Rome, where history shouts from every corner, this place whispered instead.
Then came the tomahawk.
They did not rush it to the table. They presented it like a memory you would want to keep. Thick, proud, and unapologetically beautiful. The kind of steak that does not need explanation, only respect. Perfectly seared on the outside, tender on the inside, carrying that deep Black Angus flavor that lingers longer than the bite itself. Each slice felt intentional. Each mouthful felt earned. It was not just meat on a plate. It was patience. Fire. Craft.
What made the experience quietly cinematic was the knife selection. Instead of handing you a single tool and moving on, they invited you to choose. Different weights. Different balances. Handles that felt personal in your hand. It was a small detail, but it mattered. In that moment, cutting into the tomahawk felt like writing your own chapter in the evening. You chose how the story moved forward.
The service matched the tone perfectly. Attentive but never hovering. Present without interruption. The staff had that rare ability to read the table. They knew when to explain and when to step back. When to recommend and when to let silence do the talking. Every interaction felt calm, genuine, and respectful, as if they understood that this was not just dinner. It was a shared experience.
What stayed with me most was how everything moved at its own pace. No pressure to finish. No sense of being rushed out. Just the feeling of sitting across from something good and allowing it to last. Like the scenes in The Notebook where nothing dramatic happens, yet everything means something.
By the time the plates were cleared, the night felt heavier in the best way. Full not just from food, but from atmosphere. From care. From a place that understands that romance is not always loud. Sometimes it is a perfectly cooked tomahawk, a well chosen knife, and service that knows when to be quiet.
This was not just a meal in Rome. It was a pause. A memory. One of those evenings you carry with you long after the city lights fade
