The Cajun food here is excellent, and the plating is impressive—especially considering this is not a traditional brick-and-mortar, full-service restaurant. Ordering is done at the counter, after which you’re given a number and seat yourself, so it’s important to know upfront that this is more of a self-service experience.
That said, the setup resembles a sit-down restaurant with booths, tables, bar seating, and a patio, which can make expectations a bit confusing. During every visit, we’ve had to get everything ourselves—whether it was a to-go box, extra napkins, or condiments. Staff rarely checks on tables, and you really have to self-advocate. Because tips are requested at the time of ordering, before food or service is received, the lack of table check-ins feels like a mismatch.
Parking is somewhat limited since the restaurant shares a strip center with other businesses. However, the food truly stands out. The shrimp gumbo is excellent, flavorful, and generously portioned.
Overall, the food quality makes it worth visiting, but a small improvement in service—such as a manager or staff member circulating to check on guests—would elevate the experience significantly. We’d return if we were in the area and did enjoy our visit.

We didn’t expect this but quite disappointed with our visit. The restaurant seems to focus too much on to-go service — we had to wait 35 minutes for our order to arrive at the table. Even worse, after eating, both of us ended up with stomach aches and diarrhea. We’re not sure which dish caused it, but it was a very unpleasant experience.
But the seafood gumbo had a good portion.

We really like to go there for crawfish, their baked salmon, Kampuchea, Cobb salad, boudin balls and almost everything is so delicious there.
My only suggestion would be for them to use beef / lamb tallow or avocado oil in their kitchen. I would gobble up a whole bowl of their delicious French fries if they’re cooked and fried in good fats

We went there last night for the first time , 9-10 of us. Everybody absolutely loved the food. I had Shrimp Brochette . Absolutely amazing! Served on a dish of dirty rice which was very tasty. For dessert, you have to try the Creole Cream Cheese Cake!!! Prices were mid-range. Good atmosphere. Order at the counter was different.Staff was awesome. I may have a new favorite!

We absolutely love this restaurant! Since moving here last year, it’s been our go-to spot, especially when hosting friends. The relaxed atmosphere and the staff’s kindness and patience make every visit enjoyable. Our kids adore the children’s meals, my husband is a fan of the seafood platter, and I’ve found the crawfish to be the best I’ve had in Katy!

Matthew was great 5 star service! He gave us recommendations for meal selection and drinks. He was friendly and greeted us within 3 minutes of sitting at the bar. Luv’d the bisque and gumbo, seasoned so well. Parking was easy. The ambiance was chill.

Very good food. Enjoyed the bisque with cornbread. My friend ordered 2 platters and etoufe for her small birthday gathering. I must say everything was great. Customer service was a great experience and helpful since the price of one of the platters rung up incorrectly. Manager was able to adjust the price based on online menu. Overall very impressed.
Came back the next day for the beignets, but it was worth the price $8 for 4. If you don’t like pudding don’t get the vanilla dipping icing. Anywho I’ll revisit when I’m Houston!

Food was pretty good. We had oysters, gumbo, stuffed shrimp, campeche and crawfish. Our waiter was good but was covering too many tables. It was a little loud and times and we couldn’t hear ourselves talk. Overall would recommend.

We stumbled upon this place, it was awesome! We came on Thursday, their is a $19.99 special for 24 fried shrimp and fries. It was great for two people. It was very clean, fast service, fast timing on our food and every thing was fresh and tasty. We will definitely come back! The St Charles shrimp pasta was awesome! Good size servings as well.
