A little Italian…a Lotta Fun! is what you will find at this cozy local Italian restaurant. Orlando’s has been serving their Family Recipes since 1965, and is owned and operated by Texas Tech graduates. Orlando’s menu features hand-tossed pizza, spaghetti and meatballs, Jumbo Italian Roast Beef sandwiches, lots of popular specialty dishes such as Green Chile Chicken Linguine, and be sure to save room for our homemade Chocolate Rum Cake. Orlando’s was voted the #10 Best Burger in Texas by Texas Monthly in their August 2009 edition of “50 Best Burgers in Texas”. Orlando’s has won “Best Italian Restaurant” in Lubbock for 14 years in the Lubbock Avalanche Journal Reader’s Choice awards.

Amazing food, atmosphere and service!!! I met some friends here for dinner and what a great place to eat!! Between the four of us we had the Italian sausage casserole, cheese and garlic focaccia, tortellini, potato and green chili soup, manicotti and chicken marinata. ALL was absolutely amazing!! Our waiter was prompt and very polite. Will definitely be back!

Visited Lubbock from Midland and we decided to eat here. It did not disappoint. Everything is fresh and delicious. I had the chicken spaghetti. Definitely would like to visit again in the future.

Good for dining in. Not great for take out, especially for curbside. Put in a large order and tipped 18%. Arrived at the pick up time. Checked in. Ignored for 20 minutes until I called. Food wasn’t even lukewarm by the time I go it. Salad inedible because of temp issues. No apology or acknowledgement. Just shoved my food at me.

Living in the Lubbock area I surprisingly have not eaten here till last year. Let me tell you this place has never disappointed me everything I have tried so far is amazing. Great service, great atmosphere and I believe he name was Frank? Who works the bar area was awesome as well. 10/10 i would recommend this place anyone traveling through Lubbock or staying here.

We’ve eaten at Orlando’s off and on for the last 11- 12 years. It has always been a very good experience. The food is always exceptionally good and especially tasty. The prices are not so outlandishly outrageous as to gasp for breath when you see your final bill. I am Lactose Intolerant, so milk products Do affect my system. I go with the spaghetti with meat sauce and add 2-4 of their homemade meatballs and I ‘m all set. Others, like my wife or son, get chicken parmesan or even pizza. I have shared some of their mozzarella sticks, and They Are Really GOOD !!! If you want good authentic Italian food in Lubbock Texas give Orlando’s a try.

It was our 1st time eating here and we absolutely LOVED the delicious food and phenomenal service. Brooke was our server and gave us excellent suggestions and even let us sample the various sauces. Shelly, the manager was also very nice. We will definitely return.

The restaurant is a great experience in itself and the food was awesome. I highly recommend the green Chile chicken linguine. I personally did not like the down-n-dirty tortellini, flavor wise it was okay and spicy level was only 2/10.

Food is always great here, no matter what you try. The atmosphere is cozy and fun, hostesses are always friendly. Wait staff is hit or miss-two weeks ago the waitress we had was amazing and very attentive. The one we had today acted like her tables were a bother and we only saw her twice.

Had to try Orlando’s most popular dish, the green Chile chicken pasta. As referred by a friend that it was really good. The taste of green Chile and Olive oil were good, I could see why is a fan favorite here in TX. (Spicy) the green Chile queso nacho chips were also good for an appetizer start. As well as the chicken parmesan was also tastee. Now the disappointment of this whole review and a favorite of mines was the Manicotti. Now, I know a lot of people don’t eat it, but being raised in NYC Italian dishes never disappoint. This Manicotti wasn’t fill to fulfill the urge. My personal opinion, but try it out for yourself. Also the drinks we had were good. The service was a plus and the atmosphere was outstanding. Love the vibe in this place. I’ll definitely go back to try other dishes maybe something might spark a better interest in the food.
