In 2001, at Mount Ori’Zaba near Mexico City, Mexico, we had an idea – to bring fresh, fast and delicious Mexican food to Las Vegas, Nevada. Over the years the economy has changed, the landscape has changed, but Ori’Zaba’s commitment to high quality and fresh ingredients never has. We stand by our commitment to serve scratch made food, made daily with fresh ingredients.

Two soft tacos, beans, and rice for $7.50. Honestly, that made my decision so easy for lunch today.
Choice of meat, tortillas, fillings, extras (are extra).
Extensive selections.
Everything is fresh, never frozen.
Made to order.
Note that there is a 99 cents service charge when ordering through the app.
The wait time said “up to 25 minutes” but that’s in case they are busy in the store, there is a built-in cushion of time so I would never expect immediate order fulfillment here or anywhere.
Today, I was there in less than 10 minutes, not expecting my order to be ready and was pleasantly surprised that it was ready to go!
I also got a side of pico de gallo and green salsa.
Everything fit neatly into a nice sized brown paper bag with handles.
While I was inside the restaurant, I noticed how nice the decor was, how clean it was, how fresh all the ingredients looked, how extensive their menu was, how nice their patio was, and how friendly the staff was.
The food itself is great. Well balance portions of meat, the toppings I chose, the side of rice and beans. They did not skimp on any of the portions because of the lunch special.
Everything tasted delicious and fresh. It’s a great, super tasty lunch deal. My lunch order was fulfilled exactly as I ordered it on the app.
There is plenty of seating inside and outside.
Lots of free parking in downtown Summerlin. There is a free multi-story parking garage adjacent to the restaurant. Also, street parking is possible but a little more challenging to find depending on time of day.
Overall, five stars! I will definitely be back.
Lunch to go
The server assembling the food greeted us but when we were ready to order he had to be told be the manager he had customers waiting and he was standing right there. Once he assisted us he assembled our order well. The Cashier was very friendly.
What we ordered:
1.) Classic Zaba Chicken Bowl $11.25 My hubby said his was fresh and taste.
2.) Classic Queso Shrimp Bowl $13.15 Ingredients were fresh and tasty.
Those I didn’t get around to naming or going in depth in – I’m sorry but quite literally every staff member & each time window deserves all mentioned below.
First & foremost, Zaba’s is by far and has been since I’ve discovered them in 2013, my favorite restaurant to eat at. Had it not been for my profession in cyber security – I’d have joined their membership program long ago.
Now, I will say not all locations are the same unfortunately. However, that’s not to say others were terrible at all – most of the times, any location I’ve gone too has been met with good experience.
However, by far, and quite literally every single time I’ve gone to the Downtown Summerlin location, the food is fresh, the environment is clean, the vibes are welcoming and customer service is outstanding. EVEN during times that they are extremely busy, and backed-up, they have always displayed such a kind & welcome feeling – that otherwise human nature would say is impossible. Meaning, even under the most stressful situations, they are all 5star performers.
Now, unfortunately I don’t have everyones name, otherwise I’d shout them out individually, from the cook in the back who is responsible for the delicious steaks, and shrimps I always get – to the cashier rep who takes in payment, provides materials, and always is cleaning anytime there isn’t a line.
That said, I must shoutout the SUPERSTARS that have me going there at least 3x a week. I’ve done the budget before, and to say I’ve spent over $300 in a month before isn’t an exaggeration at all. NOT only that, but when we go, my son always makes a mess unfortunately, by habit of him just being a toddler. NEVER ONCE did they express any frustration about it and always welcome us with a smiling, knowing very well, our section would be a mess (floor) when we leave. So because of that & others listed – the reason for me not blinking even when they took out the water cups is because of these superstars below:
Now I’m terrible with names sorry but to those I can fit in here :
**Lalah:**
My son knows her by face & name. She is one of the brightest stars. She always greets us with warmth & always has a moment with me & my son to sincerely smile and just say hi. But, I think that is who she is as a person in general. What makes her a superstar at work – is the things she does when no-one is looking. Her work ethic is incredible & yet still positive even under a backed up line. She’s constantly moving, and/or helping her team. I can’t write enough about her, but I want to shout out a couple more. But she is quite literally someone I’m always hoping to see when I go there during one of my 3x a week visit. She’ll know who I am, because my son always gets the double white rice with his cheese quesadilla. Please MANAGEMENT please take note of Lalah, and reward her work. Good work is so hard to come by these days. And should be noticed, announced, and rewarded.

I’m sorry if I butchered the name but is a younger gentlemen with black hair and more asian features. What a champ this guy is. Just like Lalah, we see him often when coming in (morning/afternoon) and he always has gone above and beyond for us. Remembering the little things like we always ask for spoons, and either lemons on the side or squeezed over my bowl. He is just such an awesome young gentlemen, and hard worker. I don’t know his exact age, but when I was that young, I certainly didn’t work 1/3 as hard as this gentlemen, all while maintaining a positive and thoughtful attitude. Thoughtful is key, again he’s always trying to anticipate what we need – depending on if its just me & my son, or if I’ve brought rest of family, he remembers – always- specific niche requests I have and does it in advance. What an impressive young gentlemen who deserves recognition from the top. You don’t see people his age work this hard & be good at their jobs much anymore.
**Summer**
I ran out of room, but to say quickly, none of this would be possible without management. They are always prepared.
Did you know Kid’s eat free every Sunday how awesome is that right?! We stopped by this past Sunday and grabbed our son his favorite meal Chicken Quesadillas while we ordered the Surf n Turf Burrito, Asada Fries and a custom made bowl with Chips and Salsa and Jarritos of course! We loved enjoying everything as a family it made for a wonderful lunch at their downtown Summerlin location!
