This is some seriously good sushi. Fresh, beautifully prepared, and some of the most stunning presentation I’ve ever seen. There are a lot of sushi choices in Lakewood, but Orion is my first choice.

What an amazing sushi experience!
This was our first visit here and I’m sad that we are just now discovering this place! We absolutely love sushi, but always seem to crave it on Mondays when our usual sushi spots are closed. We stumbled upon this place online and the restaurant looked nice and food looked yummy! I’m happy we gave it a try, this is now one of our favorites!
Restaurant is very clean, and laid out nicely! You have options to sit at tables, tables with booths, and also up at the sushi bar. The staff was very friendly and attentive, we were sat right away! It was refreshing that it wasn’t too busy either!
Food was AMAZING! They unfortunately don’t have All You Can Eat options, but it didn’t matter to us since it was our first time here. We ordered the Hako sushi roll, Crazy Salmon Roll, Playboy Roll, and the Red Dragon Roll along with some of the nigiri. We also tried the Pork Gyoza. Everything was awesome! The Crazy Salmon Roll is on the spicy side, so be prepared! It was really good though! For dessert, we tried the Tiramisu. It was good, but next time I’ll get the Mochi ice cream instead.
The staff was very attentive and friendly! The bathrooms were also very clean (yes, I pay attention to the bathrooms because dirty bathrooms usually means other areas are dirty too).
Everything about this sushi restaurant was great! We are very happy we found this place, we love sushi and I highly recommend coming here if you’re a fan of great sushi restaurants!

Solid sushi spot (though not Japanese owned or run). We ordered several rolls and they were all good. Service and atmosphere were excellent. There are also several non-sushi options on the menu. Prices and portions very reasonable. We will be back.

Food: in love with the yummy miso soup, and fried sweet potatoes sushi. The udon noodles were my favorite!!!! The sushi was a bit sloppy- uneven cuts and torn. (See pics)

Loved it! Amazing staff. Food came in quick. Water refills were on point. They took the wrappers or dishes that were finished right away. Clean, well oriented, and great communication from their team. Will definitely come again next time I’m in Colorado! Thanks Orion Sushi & its staffs!!!

Orion Sushi is my husband’s and my favorite sushi spot in the entire city! The sushi is always so fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The staff are incredibly friendly, accommodating, and welcoming every time we visit. You can really tell how thoughtful and intentional they are with both their presentation and service. The most important thing is that they served quality sushi and could tell they were serious about the quality of their food. The prices were very reasonable and had many options for the budget spender or the high roller. It was operated by a talented and friendly staff. It stood out that the server was observing our needs every time he passed by. He was eager to answer questions and take care of the customers needs. This was impressive, because he had quite a few tables to tend to. I was not expecting this from what appeared to be a hole in the wall sushi place. I am eager to return and see what else they have to offer. After a few visits the quality and care for service and food have surpassed my expectations. I am pretty picky about food especially sushi…yet this establishment has given me no complaints. Well done Orion Sushi.
