My family and I were on a short road trip and we’ were craving Mexican food. I googled best Mexican food in Bullhead city Arizona, and it was a tossup between Karina’s and Oriol’s. We chose Orioles because there were 1.7k reviews for a total of 4.4 stars.
When we walked in, the hostess seemed to be a little snooty/irritated, but I tried to brush it off because we were tired and hungry from a long day of driving.
Thankfully, we were seated right away. Our waitress was much more pleasant than the hostess. The waitress recommended the chile rellenos, claiming they would be the best we’ve ever tasted. We ordered chile rellenos, chile Colorado, and tacos plate.
We were extremely disappointed. The chilies were not even roasted and peeled. The chile was closer to raw and very bright green (When it’s roasted and peeled, it turns to a less vibrant green, which is exactly what you want before it’s coated in the egg batter.). The sauce on the plate of chili Colorado disguised the fact that it literally had only about 1/3 of a cup of meat. The rest of the plate was rice and beans. The beans on our plates were dry at the edges. I understand that the waitress does not cook and Plate the food, but she should have had the cooks give us fresh beans before she delivered it to us.
The food was not great. It wasn’t horrible, but if we’re in Bullhead city again, we try out Karina’s instead.
I will say that the chips and salsa were excellent.

We had went here with a large group (26 people) on very short notice and they were amazing. Good food, great service and basically had an entire area of the restaurant to ourselves. They even took our picture for us.

Finally a place with HOT table salsa! Chips and salsa were great. Food was really good. Some in my group said bland, but my food was really good. Service was good and food came out fast. I will be back next time I’m in Bullhead and want to go out to eat for Mexican food. Overall nice place, good staff, and really good food. Prices were pretty good too. Not much for vegan options, so I got a bean and cheese burrito. It was really big and hit the spot. Probably too much for lunch, but that was on me.

We recommend this place! This place has a great atmosphere! I ordered the Red Enchiladas! Wife ordered the chicken Mole! Daughter order a big plate! We couldn’t finish our food so we took it to go! Great portions!

Really good food and the Bar and their stall is great. Chips with salsa and beans with melted cheese was excellent. I sometimes get their hamburger and fries. Great burger. Get the cheese enchilada too and pickled onions.

This place is great! Recommended by my Dad’s friend, we had an early dinner here. Very nice, friendly staff. The food is incredible. The chips and salsa were fantastic, I think maybe the best salsa I have had. I tried the carnitas, and was not disappointed. Everything on my plate was great. My wife got the carne asada tacos and I had to taste. Very good! Dad got the taco and enchilada plate. He thought it was very good. And at the end – a key lime candy disc. We will definitely go back when visiting from Ohio.

Our go-to mexican restaurant was closed so my wife and I decided to try a new place, so to Oriol’s we went. Great service from the time we entered the place. Our waitress, Diana was fantastic! I had the chili verde plate, delish! My wife enjoyed the grilled chicken burrito. We started with a shrimp ceviche tostado, absolutely fresh. This will be our new go-to restaurant when we are in town.
