The food was great with big portions. The wait was long since there was only there was only one waitress. The problem was when we had to pay. We are a family of 15 and asked for split tickets. Apparently, the waitress got confused and didn’t write the orders down correctly and they overcharged us. The lady (assuming the owner) charged us double because she thought we wanted to leave without paying. It was all overwhelming and frustrating bc it was rush hour. Our kids wanted to leave, but had to wait until they figured out what the waitress wrote down so we could pay. Unfortunately, this was the only place around and we stopped to eat before heading back home. Don’t think I’ll ever have to come back, I rather make us sandwiches for the road.

Not the fanciest place but we eat here about once a week for their crispy tacos, charro beans and rice. Delicious! I also think they have the best cheese enchiladas in town. I’ve never tried their burgers but I hear they are great. Excellent place for breakfast, too. Love their omelettes with side of fresh fruit. We have been regulars here for 8 years.

Not fancy just perfect. The food took A minute because it was fresh. The husband had pork chop full breakfast and didn’t leave much, calling it quits because he was full. I got 2 Waffles and bacon. The bacon was extra crisp. I like mine a little less so but still good. I only ate one Waffle, so filling. The second was taken back for breakfast following morning in the RV. my daughter had the steak omelet. She tore into it. It was huge. Give it a chance.

Stopped here after a search for a good breakfast spot while on vacation. Originally went in for the breakfast tacos that we seen so many reviews on, but decided on lunch instead! We got the pork chop plate, and the fiesta burrito. We also got the supreme nachoes with carne asada. Now everything was delicious and fresh. They had a full house with only one waitress when we got there and she was attentive and exceptional for not only us but everyone that was dining in. She was really sweet. The lady at the register was also nice. Our food came out fast. I do wish the nachos would have came out first but that’s ok! Also the pork chop could have had a bit more flavor but it was still good. Nice nice place. Rice and refried beans were yummy. Hubby liked the fiesta burrito.

Just outside of the normal harang of touristy places, you can usually find one of those small gems, a place run by family, and has the decor and food reflecting true local culture. If you love Mexican food, and love the allure of these kind of places, you won’t be disappointed. Try the egg & napalito tacos, or the mixed-egg & pancakes!

The food is always delicious and their portion sizes are always more than plenty. But, that young waitress, I do not know her name because she obviously didn’t give it, because she was not the friendliest. I could actually say she was a little rude. I myself feel like if we as paying customers tell her thank you after bringing our menus, drinks, or our food even… She can at least say you’re welcome. And be attentive, don’t wait to be called over (as she herself is sitting down eating) especially if we are the only ones in the restaurant.

Not sure about breakfast but dinner was not what was expected. Meat had no flavor, small basket of chips over $2, & 18% gratuity for family of 5 or more. Waitress was cool after giving the order wrong, corrected mistake. Fresh cantaloupe water was good.
