Everything was delicious—hot and fresh. We honestly thought the wait would be longer, but they got our food out surprisingly fast, especially for a Saturday night. The staff was respectful and efficient, and the food was excellent. I personally tried the new Caliente Burger and it was absolutely awesome. I’ve had Tommy’s before and have always enjoyed it, but I’m really glad they added the Caliente menu. I also love the extra space inside. Overall, super good experience and great food.

My first visit and definitely not my last! The chili was absolutely delicious, the taste was scrumptious on the fries and burger! So glad I stopped by while visiting Hollywood.

For several bucks more than In-n-Out, you can get a combo that tastes more mediocre, and is served in a more mediocre and less friendly fashion. Tommy’s “famous” burger relies on its gimmick of chili to mask the fact that the meal itself isn’t anything super special, and the harsh white lighting and a cashier who seemed reluctant to take my order made for a weird atmosphere and a disappointing experience.

Talk about horrible service and misleading prices with physical location and online (google map). Didn’t take our order right, and overcharged (seperate items) as we requested the #2 Combo meal. Gave us wrong order “inconvenience to drive back.” Order placed 11:22pm 08/16/25

Online says about $12, physical might have, been $16 but cashier charged us $23.60. They owe us $$…. or the correct meal.

Sorry to be a little bit dramatic but I’m going to vent a little. I’m a pretty friendly person so I don’t think my vibe was off here, but I walked away feeling really unwelcome.

First time here and really let down by the customer service. The guy wasn’t rude by any means but not really helpful at all. I had a coupon for mobile ordering so I waited to place my order until right when I pulled to the drive through and was driving up to speak to them. I told him I had just placed an online order but was hoping to make one modification. (I just wanted the chili on the side for one of my two burgers so I could reheat it tomorrow without it getting soggy). He cut me off several times trying to understand if I was a DoorDash driver or trying to place an order or what, and then when he realized it was a mobile order he asked me to pull to the window. I repeated myself and said I was hoping to make a modification and also buy a drink but he’d already shut the monitor off and I was talking to myself. By the time I had gotten to the window they were putting the chili on the burger and I asked him if i could just have the chili on the side. He turned around and shrugged and said it was almost ready, and the guy threw the chili on there right after that. I explained I was really hoping to have it on the side and that he cut me off at the window as I was trying to ask, he didn’t seem to care in the slightest. I wasn’t trying to force them to remake it but I told him a couple of times I was a little sad / disappointed, because I really wanted to eat it tomorrow and add the chili then. Like really trying to signal politely that this is important to me, but I was completely brushed off, dude couldn’t care less lol. He said I should’ve come inside and not gone through the drive through.

I hate to be writing such a long review over some chili, but as someone who works as a manager in a fast casual restaurant and has worked fast food before, I pride myself in my customer service, and always remake something if it’s not to the customers needs. If they forgot to take something off I fix it because they paid for it and their business matters more than a little lost profit. So I’m really disappointed in management for how these people have been trained. I won’t be able to eat this tomorrow because it’ll be complete mush. So it’s a shame that I drove all the way here, waited to place my order right as I was getting to the drive through so I could explain, and then completely brushed off when I explained that it was disappointing.

Based off this experience alone I won’t be adding this place into my rotation. I was super excited to try this place, I love chili and the burger was actually good, but it’s the little things, and as a first impression I’m very put off. I don’t think it’s the employees fault, guessing their policy is to not remake food, but remaking one burger to win my business is what makes me come back to places, personally. just sharing that feedback.

Side note, I asked if he could do a coke float and he looked at me like I was crazy…. He said only root beer. I was confused because they’re both fountain sodas with ice cream. Not his fault again if that’s a policy but just the attitude from him and the other employees in there was really unwelcoming honestly. Maybe the company isn’t paying them enough, or mistreating them, I don’t know. I do not post this review to blame the workers, but you need to either train them on customer service or raise the morale in there.

I’ve wanted to come here for years, I’ve driven here a couple times to find out they closed early, and it sucks when you put effort and energy into something and walk away feeling like you wasted your time and money. I ended up giving the burger intended for tomorrow to a hungry dude across the street so I didn’t throw it away, so I lost some money there but at least dude got some food, and the one I ate was admittedly pretty good. But not worth coming back for knowing how they value their customers.

Clean, there’s always parking. Can’t go wrong with their chili burger/ chili fries.
When ordering chili burger, you can ask them to have the chili on the side so the bread doesn’t get all soggy

From the outside this place reeks of old school American burger joint. Looks great. Sadly, when i visited I found the service slow and not very friendly. I was the only one waiting but maybe it was because it was around midnight.
The food was ok. I had the double chilli burger meal. Wasn’t bad. Just not as good as what I experienced from similar establishments in the same area.
